PARAMORE 'THIS IS WHY' - WIP! (Patreon)

Look at this tremendous drawing I am making. Been in progress truly since the song came out but I have been such a busy little legend. I love drawing because I forget how to draw every time I draw something and have to re-figure-it-out. I kinda like that it is smooth rendered AND has lineart. It has never been done... not like this. The middle one does not look like her and thats sorta cool. Its like an alternate universe. Art is funny and silly.

Also I was thinking, why is fanart looked down upon? Are ancient Roman marble and bronze statues not commissioned fanart of emperors and religious figures? Makes you think. Except in this story I am my own patron of the arts. Nobody tells me what to do!!!!

Anyways..... The second photo shows the layer where I decided to pop some lineart on top. I like how it looks on its own! Kinda cool. Drawing is hard and it helps to remember that every artist is sorta faking it. People might think this looks good (I think so too) but they don't know the embarrassing stages of it. How the process could convince someone that I really do not know what I am doing. But if improvising and adapting and overcoming creates art and not skill or knowledge.. then that is a feat in itself. Genuinely I think my technical skills have worsened. I also think art needs you to use your brain and think about why exactly you are putting what color where. And my brain is too tired to do that lately. But I have the hugest brain I have ever had that helps me be cunning and do trickery that produces work that is safe to view with the human eye. And that in itself is a priceless skill.....
