Hello family. Happy Halloween. Hallow be thy ween!

I have been a busy legend packaging your 300 fish stickers and then ordering 2 more batches of even larger more epic fish stickers and posters (non-fish, regrettably). But I have this large version of my Paramore drawing, huge with words about it, and wallpapers!

I began this drawing before the song even came out, was a crazy coincidence that Paramore was gonna release a song called This is Why with this exact imagery, kinda crazy actually. I wanted it to be very colorful and collagey and sorta weird, and I wanted to use both of these references, and so I did. I knew I wanted to draw this epic render style (full "realistic" coloring), so that was very helpful to know I guess. Except I forgot how to draw again while making this. And I didn't really stick with my epic render style.

Step 1 is a rough stage but one I am comfortable enough showing the people. I only rendered the one face to a point where I was like ok good I remember how to draw. It set a tone for the rest of the drawing. A bit loose a bit untrue. Good to know. And the references have made it so there is a more yellow Hayley and a more pink Hayley, this will be established further going forward..

Step 2 let me know that I was actually going to be using a scratchy color pencilly moment. The hair rendering and the more graphic outlining of the second face is evident of this. A sort of epic gamer life hack to cheat past clean rendering.

Step 3 is a further evolution. Sort of unnecessary to show, I added more of the hair to the front Hayley and and beginning to color the one in the far back. She is very easy to do and the most abstract, to separate that chunk from the rest. No face!

Step 4 shows more progress, I experimented with coloring front Hayley wacky style, but ultimately decided that was not good. But back Hayley is pink as ever.

Step 5 shows a boom in front and back Hayley limb and torso rendering. She is looking so good. I hate rendering a body but my more graphic approach has made it quite doable. The lipstick has taken center stage. Two or three shades of values per each subject with some haphazard outlining. Easy enough!

Step 6 is the final!! I must expand the size of the canvas to be appropriate for instagram, and I have chromatic abberated it. Colors are popping, the necklace completes the image, and the font of 'This is Why' is now slaying. It has gone from beautiful to iconic.

I hope you enjoy!!! Wallpapers are below!
