Fragment lady - final, process + wallpapers! (Patreon)

Wassup patrons, me again!

Here is a beautiful up close and personal look into my latest ig post! This was inspired by my last post of more minecraft men. This one, is unrelated to ANYTHING! Just simply cool and epic fun. Except I did manage to include some fragments of fanart via Jake the dog and a spider man head.

The idea sprung from a drawing I did for something else I am not sure I can disclose, but we did not end up using the sketch so its ok (image 2).

I started by making the initial sketch pink I believe and then loosely coloring it (after piecing her head back together) (image 3). Then I was like you know what this is cool and all but maybe I actually want to make the coloring realistic-ish. So then I bring up a reference of a woman's face and use my favorite muted red color for most of the shadows and then a soft salmony color and bam its a beautiful person (image 4). Wow, who would have thought that reference helps. Sad truth.

Then I fragmentize it (image 5). I did this thing that I did both in my old mirror drawing and my hayley williams drawing:

where I slightly color the fragments different colors so you can differentiate them a bit more. I added a pretty shoddy drop shadow behind the fragments for the heck of it.

Finally, I add my little doodles on top! They have super basic coloring and semi clean lineart. Then I clean up the edges on top of everything with an off-white color that adds some nice texture in my opinion. In procreate, I alter the colors and add the halftone effect! (image 6) I actually like this version quite a lot, even though the final is very harmonious. This version sort of reminds me of eunpyoart... if they started making their art more boring. ha...

Thats it! Here is wallpapers!! vvv
