Early ad-free access for Part 17 of our cutscenes reaction for Grand Theft Auto V. This wraps up the main story but there is one more video to go. Not sure what it entails but looking forward to GTA continuing for one more week.

As far as Bethany’s question/criticism about the bullet wounds/injuries, unless it’s mentioned in a cutscene or through dialogue, any damage a player takes is not canon. As Ken was saying, the characters still have a health bar and taking multiple hits to die would be less aggravating than if you were to die from just getting hit once, so it’s all about gameplay. As is the controversies with recent games, not gonna name any so I don’t skew ya’ll’s judgement, but many players don’t like games to always be easy or to be very handholding in nature, so dying would still be an appreciated aspect of games such as GTA and combat oriented games. That said, games are still meant to be fun, unless you’re trying to torture yourself, test your skill or just to gloat about having done it whether or not to friends, people online or just yourself, not dying immediately is also very necessary. Imagine having to always play a Dark Souls (Souls Like) game at 1 hp or any of the resident evils games and others that ya’ll have played…. While some may find that a part of the challenge, for most who just want to have fun, that wouldn’t be very ideal. Sorry for the rant, started with answering Bethany’s questions and words kept forming in my head like some shitty AI asked to pad an essay.

Yeah Franklin has the best character development in the game. He knew friendship with Lamar and loyalty with his close friends and family is the most important.

I suspect the last part is the alternate endings (killing Michael/Trevor) and their consequences, and/or GTA5 Online cutscenes since iirc some of the story for the online portion involves Lamar, Lester, and other characters that might be from older GTA games.

Really enjoyed yall's reactions to this whole story. Franklin might be my favorite character, despite finding Michael the most relatable (in the cynical, nostalgia sense). Glad we're all on the same page of wanting Haines and Weston dead. I know I previously gave the gta v chaos recommendation, but I do have another game to recommend for the sake of story. Problem, however, is that I'm not sure how to recommend it. Detroit: Become Human. It's a game with so many pathways that vary SO much that just watching a cutscenes video wouldn't really work. It's not a complicated game in terms of gameplay, as it plays more like a movie that you have some control here and there, that I would actually recommend an actual playthrough from you two to see what kind of story you make. As two people who love stories, storytelling, themes, and characters, I feel like it is one you will truly love.
