I think its less that fosalors was detached and more so resigned to her fate. Its bittersweet her human half Furina had to suffer massively but ultimately gets to life the free human life the god version of her wanted but she won't get to see it. I remember a lot of people hating on Fosalor after the reveal of what she had Furina do and I feel that too cruel. The girl was put into an impossible position upon becoming the hydro god and want about solving in a way where she is the one to pay the ultimate price ie death.

And so the Hydro Archon is officially no more. Just to clarify the "destroy the divine throne of the Hydro Archon" and "the death sentence was for neither Focalors nor Furina" thing that was mentioned, what Focalors did didn’t just kill her, her plan tore through the rules set by Celestia and PERMANENTLY removed the position of Hydro Archon from Teyvat’s system, unless someone else with enough power does something about it from now on there can be no new Hydro Archon in Teyvat ever again. So yeah, fun fact to keep in mind is that from now on whenever characters talk about "The Seven" when referring to the Archons it should instead be called "The Six" because Focalors permanently killed/destroyed the seventh Archon position. (But obviously the common people do know any better to start saying "The Six" since only Neuvillette was there to fully understand what Focalors’ plan was)

I always liked Furina but this Archon Quest and this act in particular, made her the best written character in the game, in my opinion

Yeah Focalors’ "anyway — so then icursed her" line is one of the most meme’d lines in the Genshin community lol
