Lovely work as always guys :)

That surprise return at the end made me so happy. I'm pretty sure Smackdown can do no wrong at this point, and that wrestling will be saved forever.

The fact that AE Podcast is going long enough that we get a nostalgia pop for Big Bossman Behaving Badly is amazing. The Nando's Scale will be back next!

Marc Walder

My favourite podcast series is becoming more regular and I’m loving it

This period is so under appreciated and not talked about enough. I'll be excited to hear your thoughts on the soon approaching heel Dead Man Walking theme before it gets lyrics. Low key my fav Undertaker theme and my favorite version of Taker in general. "Come on boy, I'm being genuinely more terrifying and evil than I was as a wizard mortician boy"

Josh Moores

I won't lie, I booted up my PS2 and Smackdown SYM and had Ric Flair giving 5 Star Frog Splashes to opponents after that bit where Flair and RVD did Figure 4 Leg Locks.

Royce A Murray

Maybe next ep Jo will rip off her shirt and reveal that she back to her old gimmick of JO THE INTERN

Frank Vazquez

Guys, Flair & RVD doing the Figure 4 makes it the Figure 4:20

In reference to your guys conversation about the speed of 3 years in 1997-2000 to 2022-2025, while you cannot, of course, discount the 'When you're young 3 years is forever' factor, there's also how media is delivered. In 1997-2001, tv was rapidly expanding but also the only game in town, and you flipped through channels. So you had to grab attention and constantly evolve or you'd be canceled, you had to grab eyes. Nowadays, thanks to the deluge of content and how it's delivered, it's more about retaining a core audience, which means playing it safe.

This is part of it, but even just the fact that 3 years used to account for 1/4 of your whole existence means it FEELS longer. The observable part is called "time dilation," but it gets into stuff like relative time.

So between the Krypt-I mean ISLAND on 2k25, Rock going full "Your SOUL...is MINE!", and, of course, the deep, powerful, metaphorical character of "The Skull King"...someone high up at WWE really DID just start playing the Mortal Kombat games, didn't they?

Also, back in the Attitude Era, we didn't have the fast moving social media we have now. As kids, we also had whole summers off to do whatever with, but now, we're typically working nearly every week of the year with obligations on top of everything else. Still, the last five years feel like a really twisted up anomoly of space and time. It's been weird.

The comments on Booker T’s laugh and the imitation was LOL. What’s Kefin’s obsession with “burgersss”? Some of the promos from these shows seem lackluster. Jericho had a big accomplishment but also seemed like a transitional champion.

Hearing Test praise on the Crawl always brings joy to my ears.
