Oh we eatin good tonight

April Horn

I've been waiting for you guys to cover this! Love you Jackson :)

Austin Wilcox

This case reminds me of Jesse James Schober. Killed is daughter and got away with it for so long. Like many years until it was realized that she was missing. He got prison time, but not much.

Unknown Jpeg

Next day upload? You want me to touch you so bad Jackson

Austin Wilcox

He got away with it for over 10 years. The grandmother find out and told the police.

Austin Wilcox

He burned and buried that his poor daughter's body.

John Perez

Who up threaddin they red rn?

#Johan84

Hey jackson I’m only 21 minutes in but this case brought back a memory when I was in middle school our English teacher read to us a book (autobiography) titled “A child called it” which details the events that david pelzer suffered through ages 0-12 in one of the worst child abuse cases in America ever you guys dont have to do a red thread on it but I would recommend if you havent already pick up the book and take a read just a fair warning it’s not an easy read at times the suggested reader age is 18 years old so be warned its a good read just difficult

Ethan Kelly

I haven't watched it yet but going on past experience Isaiah is gonna be SO mad by the end

Moses Regan

My daughter was born not too long ago, so this episode is probably gonna make me heated lol, hits different now

Nier

Oil up Jackson be there in 5

Julio42K .

I was like 9-10 when this case was happening but I lived like a hour and a half away from it FUCK Casey Anthony that broad was BEYOND guilty and the only reason she was able to get off was because of failed investigators

SugmaNard

Why can't we just have 2 hosts

StoicEyes

IMO The parents definitely knew that’s why the dad tried to kill himself they just lied to themselves

YouChef

Jackson you gonna make me cry man

Eric Curry

Who is Jackson Clarke?

Deth Rogan

Where was the iconic pop culture reference

Zeraphys

Hey Jackson, are you able to link the charity organization in the description?

Twocan

Jackson’s partner cooked with this script; the boys made this super dark case educational, and brought levity when the episode needed it. With criminally stupid and red thread within the same 24 hours, we as the audience have been abosolutly feasting. Y’all are killing it, the behind the scene team too The 8 hour 9/11 episode, featuring Charlie, Schlatt and Sam O Nella is gonna be podcasting perfection, I can’t wait.

Urethra Burglar

Casey Anthony pisses me off more than OJ or any other person who got away with murder. She was a person who lived without consequence her entire life and even after she murders her child continues to not only live without consequence but gets rewarded with a TV deal and enough fame to start an agency. This is beyond an abortion of justice it's proof justice in America is a pure joke.

manxie

JACKSON PLEASE DO WEST MEMPHIS THREE

One Dova

How are there trolls in patreon? Rich trolls?

Caleb P.

I was training to teach middle school and working at a daycare when it happened. I was distraught at the idea of doing ANYTHING to harm a child, so this case stuck with me. It still sickens me to my core

Alex Bryda

Woke up this morning to a video about a guy in a leopard onesie who robbed a pet store let out all the pets Madagascar style and the cops found him 30 feet away passed out on a bench with Hamsters in his pants 😂 America 😂 dudes the cops where searching him takin live animals that he had stored on his person 😂😂😂

May

Really good but really hard to listen to episode. It’s really cool that you’re donating the ad money

syon walter

I really like the real world stories tbh. The mythology stories are nice but it’s a good change up to get some real world knowledge stuff.

Deth Rogan

I don't think I'd count a national tragedy as pop culture

SteadiedShoe

This episode was so infuriating, but in a good way. Thanks guys.

Cadence

honestly this episode was a bit much for me and ruined my mood at work to listen to but i understand the whole point of this podcast just hoping for a less deplorable and sad topic next episode

Philip Basin

I don’t understand the people who requested this topic. I mean there’s no humor that can be interjected into it, it’s not some silly tale about warewolves or a crazy and engaging mystery, the boys are just left with going over the facts like a true crime documentary.

Jacob Knarr

If you guys are going to make episodes like this I'd love to hear your thoughts on Chris Watts murders and how it all unfolded. It's one of the worst cases I've seen. Honestly might be a little much for a podcast episode.

Brz12311

Thanks for the great work Jacksons girlfriend

Jenny

Case suggestion: Robert Telles, a former publicly elected administrator who is currently being tried for the murder of Jeff German, an investigative reporter who wrote unflattering articles about Telles, causing him to lose his re-election and job. Telles claims that he was framed by some corporation who he had financially slighted during his job as a public administrator. According to Telles defence, his Cloud account was hacked and someone planted google maps photos of Germans address on his phone, someone planted Telles DNA under Germans fingernails and someone planted similar attire work by the assailant, who was caught on surveilance cameras, in Telles home. The assailant also drove the exact make and model of Telles car, coincidentally. There are mountains of evidence stacked against Telles, including tweets expressing his hatred towards German, who exposed his misconduct as a boss at his workplace, where he had an inappropriate relationship with a co-woker and created a hostile work environment. He also had a horrible injury on his hands where he pretty much sliced off half of his fingernail (German was found stabbed in his own back yard). He is currently testifying to this conspiracy against him in his trial. The murder is very sad but his defence is so far-fetched it becomes entertaining. Hopefully you’ll look it up, love to hear your takes on it :)

TYRONIUS

If only the Chamberlain jury and this jury switched cases

Bryce Ferland

I sadly know a lady just like this mom almost exactly will toss her kid “that she accidentally had” to her parents and go out partying and acting like a teenager instead of being a grown adult and parent to her child sad

Truuucks

They argued supernatural means in the case that precedes the Amityville Horror house

Persei8

they didnt include a wacky intro out of respect; that's probably why they didn't shoehorn a pop culture reference in. i appreciate that they handled this case with a little more care <3

Western Philosopher

This is just like in the Star Wars novel Dynasty of Evil when Darth Bane tried to kill his adoptive daughter so he could get a new apprentice in order to uphold the Rule of Two.

EliseR

Idk about the gender thing, Scott Peterson’s family are still behind him proclaiming his innocence and that man is 2000% guilty

Western Philosopher

I was honestly more entertained by the guys’ banter and Casey’s absurd lies than upset by the tragedy for the first half of the video. Then the mention of the Winnie the Pooh blanket. Idk why but that one specific detail is what got to me.

EliseR

The dad has admitted in recent documentaries that he believes she did it but the mom still believes her.

Western Philosopher

Sad thing is I think just about everyone knows somebody like her.

Monster Cuck

I can tell the "Go away!" by Jackson truly means "kys"

kristina

Why did u choose this rage inducing topic? 😄

ashton mathern

This has to be the only episode that was actually hard for me to listen through at some points. I have a "stepdaughter" (long term gf's daughter) and she just turned three. I can't imagine how awful it a person it takes to do that to something so happy and innocent

Deochar

What? I prefer this so much more, conversation is flowing and good jokes. I think oompa is an awesome fit

Phillip Motsinger II

There are a bunch of situations outside the double jeopardy law. Different sovereigns, new evidence, appeals, mistrials, new /separate charges, etc

Grelk

$5 isn’t exactly wallet destroying money

Francisco Romero

There is a very similar case in Mexico, only 2 years after this case, called The Paulette Case,( El Caso Paulette), a lot of covering from politicians, its as ridiculous as this one how the mom got away with it

DJ

Yeah they seemed a little uncomfortable covering this case already that’s a bit far

SomeSlur

Only complaint I have is you kind of spoil the case a bit just by blurting out random, should be surprising info.

Dre

I'm not a true crime person so I watch this podcast because of the people on it but this episode is a bit too messed up compared to the others. (Not that you guys did anything wrong) so I think ima abstain from similar episodes in the future because it messed eith my vibe. Gladly watch the others though. Don't know why oj and this one felt way diffrent to me

dyslexicanaboko

There was a pretty decent documentary about Casey Anthony I think on Hulu or Netflix and I thought I knew everything about her case, but some of what you guys revealed was new information to me. Likewise, there was some stuff I don't think you covered (forgive me if I didn't hear it) where there were claims that Casey Anthony slept with her lawyer. She basically did whatever she could to use her looks to get her way. Truly awful person. Her good looks are wasted on her. At one point a company made an offer to her to do an adult film, then when they had backlash they retracted. Just disgusting all around. As someone who lives in Florida, I hate Florida and people like her are why. Just get away with murder, literally.

dyslexicanaboko

I agree with you on that, but man I have watched some coverage on it that really sows doubt to the point where it's hard to nail him down. It was either Netflix or Hulu - watched it a while ago.

dyslexicanaboko

Mr. Clarke - If you want a totally riveting case, like seriously knock your socks off please check out "The Staircase" https://www.netflix.com/title/80233441 it is an INCREDIBLE case. I guarantee you that Wendigoon may actually self combust and Oompaville may go into a permanent catatonic state. I will admit, it's a little slow to move, but pain yourself through the first two episodes and it gets really intense. Just awful, I can't say more because it will ruin it if you want to be shocked.

SomeGuyGary

I wonder if Caylee's father was also her grandfather? Could explain why he attempted suicide and why the father is "unknown". Also could explain the hate Casey had for her child.

Nutterbutters

I think I dont like casey Anthony

cole

Do an episode on the Franklin scandal. Also the Clinton kill list would be great

Deez

69th

Grelk

This Casey Anthony woman seems like she’s not so nice a girl…

Joshua Grant

What if George WAS sexually abusing her and was the father of caylee which is why the father never came out and why he tried to kill himself

SugmaNard

Idk I just feel like the mysterious vibe is gone now it's got like a normal podcast vibe.

red-rocket

Justice got aborted harder than Caylee haha. Zing!

person

this one was upsetting. great episode nonetheless

Nutterbutters

I know im sorry if I offended anyone

Buggs

I was ~7/8 during the trials. It's a core memory of my mom telling me and my sister she'd never stop loving us even if we killed someone, but she'd certainly not help us out of it. INB4 "mOm ShOuLdN't SaY tHaT" it was never weird or serious, always followed up with how sweet we were and she would never have to worry abt that lol.

m00str

I have never heard of this case (probably because I’m not from the USA) but god damn it how the fuck did all this happen? It’s clear as daylight that she murdered her daughter in cold blood, there is an excruciating amount of circumstantial evidence, a solid motive, evidence of the preparations of the murder, evidence of the discarding of her body, a never ending stream of lies to police, FBI and the court… And she was found NOT guilty? How hasn’t she been staked by a mob after all this? And the people at Netflix or whoever produced that documentary are just evil, degraded and deeply despicable human beings. They would probably also do a documentary about hitler claiming he didn’t do anything wrong. I am furious.

m00str

Yeah possible. It wouldn’t be the first case of something like that happening. Also her Mum would also probably know about it and someone who protects her husband while abusing their own child would also 100% protect their child after murdering their grandchild. Honestly the three Anthony’s all belong in jail anyways.

m00str

Yeah that also really messed with me. I can stand a lot but really teared up at some of the details, I only have godchildren but me heart breaks thinking someone could be as cold to take a kids life. We don’t have death penalty in my country but death penalty really is the only answer to such acts

m00str

I second that. I really love the conspiracies, cults and real life mysteries. I don’t really care for cryptids (it’s kinda lame imo) and while the true crime episodes were ok so far, this one really hurt

m00str

Also I forgot to add: didn’t she slip up at the conversation with her parents at prison when she said something like „she WAS lucky to have had gradparents like you“ before correcting herself?

Khârn the betrayer

If Justice was a woman these people raped and murdered her

TheKhiGuy

You should join the Casey Anthony legal team

Pacey

She just made a tik tok account calling herself a legal advocate or something. People in the comments are roasting her. I hope one day she gets what she deserves.
