A Very Merry Official Christmas (Patreon)

Ho Ho Ho!Hey, guys. It's Jackson here. Wanted to drop by and wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy holiday period to you all. I hope you guys get everything you want for Christmas and you get to spend time surrounded by love ones and eggnog and delicious food and all of that. The Break (20/12/2024 - 20/01/2024)We're going to be trying something new this 2024 holiday season. We're going on a break! We won't lie and pout and act like the shows are hard work or they're like working a back breaking hard labour job but, to be honest, we've been doing this weekly for 8 years now without missing an episode and this year has been a very messy and stressful one for the brand and we feel it's the right time to take a little break before hitting the 2025 year at the same cadence. On a personal note, I'm also going to Japan for a solid 3 weeks and I don't want to micromanage the show or record things while I'm over there like I have on my previous trips so I'm going to be disconnecting entirely from the internet so I can spend time with those that matter the most to me in an entirely new place. All of this to say, it just didn't work out for us to continue recording over this period as I would have been inaccessible. But, that doesn't mean you have to go without any Official episodes! We've been working extra hard over these past few weeks ensuring that there will be SOME content for you over the break. List below to ensure that you're able to catch up (publish date is AEST). They're all already uploaded for members and they'll be going "public" over the break period. Reel Boys #07 - Moana 2 (December 21st)Official Podcast #420 - The Best Game Won GOTY (December 22nd)Reel Boys #08 - Red One (December 28th)Red Thread #49 - The Christmas Cryptid Grab-Bag (December 29th)Reel Boys #09 - The Reelies Part 1 (January 3rd)Criminally Stupid #28 - The Bored Predator Part 2 (January 4th)Official Podcast #421 - The Special Interest Quiz (January 6th)Reel Boys #10 - The Reelies Part 2 (January 10th)Red Thread #50 - The 300 Million Yen Robbery (January 12th)Criminally Stupid #29 - Chatlog Spectacular 3 (January 15th)Official Podcast #422 - Trying Vegemite For The First Time (January 20th)Like I said, all of this content is now available for members (Episode #420 later this week), early and ad-free so you can watch and listen to what you want over the next 20+ days. It's the least we could do and while I know it's less content than what you're used to, I hope it makes a difference in ensuring you guys feel like you're getting something from us and we're not just disappearing for a few weeks. The Perfect Christmas GiftAs a reminder, Official.men is now live and serves as a substitute or a different platform for members to use in case they want to leave the Patreon ecosystem. We're listening to feedback and we're very excited to make some changes in the new year but, broadly speaking, we're so enthused and happy that everyone on the platform seems to love it!If you haven't yet done so, Patreon members can try the platform for free for the first month by using code PATREONPROMO at checkout. If you're not a Patreon member and you're somehow seeing this, you can also enjoy 50% off all memberships (monthly and annual) through December. On top of that, a reminder that our first new merch is out for Red Thread; the "Cryptids" shirt. I'm biased, but the shirt is super comfortable and I think the design is awesome. People have already started to receive them and the feedback has been really positive as well. I'd personally love to see you guys wearing them, so remember to tag me! Members across both sites get 15% off at checkout, just ensure you use code https://official.men/promo/PATREONMERCHDEC at checkout if you're a patreon member! We tried to make the shirt as affordable as possible for everyone, so we really hope you guys enjoy it! Merry ChristmasAnd... that does it for 2024! Thank you so much for being here. If you're still here, you've been with us through some really monumental changes and we couldn't be more appreciative of you sticking by us through times of uncertainty. We hope, sincerely, that you guys enjoyed this last year of content and I'm excited to get back into it and hopefully come back stronger in 2025. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Stay OfficialJackson + Everyone Else
