Thanks to Cody for this suggestion and the support! 2 Videos in a day whattt? I would upload this tomorrow but I am just getting a few viewer requests done at the moment and this is a Patreon exclusive so I thought why not upload it today as well.

For anyone who has not seen this I would recommend you watch it on your own first if you are planning on watching it with me as personally I feel like it is good to watch it on your own first and interpret it in in your own way. Obviously if you want to ignore that it is completely fine lol but it is a spectacular movie and worth watching with your own thoughts.

Such an important movie in my opinion and it is hard to put into words how it made me feel but hey I talk about that more in the outro :p Keeping this exclusively on patreon I think as some of the things I say I would not want on Youtube and just shared with you guys ( as well as the songs copyright).

Anyway, hope you all enjoy and would love to hear your thoughts on this movie!

A White Womans Instragram always makes me emotional when i relisten and truly listen deep to the lyrics

This is my first time watching this with you, I have never seen it before because I don't have Netflix. I've heard of this, a lot of people, friends, have seen it, and they enjoyed it. One day I'll get Netflix and watch it.

I mean, I’ve rewatched this so many times and weirdly I cry my eyes out every time and I still feel like I can’t stop, this special puts my lockdown experience into such a clear picture that I never even thought about. I’ve loved Bo for years, and yes there are two other specials from Bo on Netflix ‘make happy’ and ‘what’ although throughout his five year break Bo wrote and directed a great film also on Netflix called ‘Eighth Grade’ which I would highly recommend. Bo’s always been one to be open about his political and societal views and I think this special really articulates what Bo has said for years in interviews and things like that, particularly his message about the internet and phones are very touched upon in ‘Eighth Grade’, also Bo’s song ‘art is dead’ is incredibly famous however the song literally isn’t funny, it’s an incredibly depressing song and yet probably what Bo was always best known for. Out of the two specials, I would recommend ‘Make Happy’ it stays true to Bo now whereas I feel ‘what’ is relevant to the comedy Bo had as a teenager which is fairly offensive and a little distasteful? ‘Make Happy’ actually is the last special Bo done before his break and it’s very obvious in the show how done Bo was with comedy and just like ‘inside’ gets a little depressing after a while

hey Seb! I joined specifically to see this reaction and I wasn't disappointed in the slightest. I loved your reaction so I hope you don't feel too self-conscious about not reacting correctly; your authentic reaction is usually the correct one haha I've been watching Bo Burnham since he was 15 years-old writing songs in his bedroom and it's been so great to see his growth as an artist.

I watched this for the first time with you and I enjoyed your reaction. I think I was in the same boat as you because I definitely had heard some of his songs from TikTok and I remember some vine videos but I didn’t know he did stand-up or anything. The part that stood out the most for me was when he turned 30. That’s pretty much how I felt when I turned 30. I didn’t want to celebrate or do anything special. I just stayed in my room all day and wondered where my 20’s went. Anyway, great reaction like always, Seb.

Ok so before this year, I was not aware of Bo Burnham. I saw he could act (Promising Young Woman) and that he could direct (Eight Grade). So I went into this blind…. and I’m blown away by his talent, like Holy Shit 🤯😅 Although I can’t relate to the cabin fever type of anxiety/depression experienced during lockdown (healthcare worker), I could relate to the toll it took on my mental health (exhaustion/burnout). Despite its erratic structure, he is able to effectively convey just how fucked up society is (and not just during the past year either). I could see this was a bit intimidating of a reaction for you. Even though we have a lot of fun on this channel (comedies/horror/smooches/etc) I hope you never do feel boxed in with your content/commentary. You have a bunch of people who have/will continue to support you 😁

Oh and a some of these bops (“Problematic” and “All Eyes on Me”) are totally going on my playlist 👌🏽😄

So glad to see you reacted to this! I had to finally become a patron, when I saw that you did this. Please do his other two Netflix specials too!! Bo is an absolute genius. Both of them are quite a bit lighter than Inside, but they still sneak some heavier stuff in.

Princess Mia

answering the question of is he huge or is the room just tiny, hes huge lmao Bo is like 6'5

Joe S

You asked for other stuff of his you could watch. He has 2 other specials on Netflix: What & Make Happy, and a couple comedy central ones before that. If you want a standalone song to react to for Youtube: Can't Handle This (Kanye Rant) is the ending of his last special before his 5 year break and the most popular thing to react to. He's also directed/acted in movies & tv if you want to look into that.

I’ve been a fan of Bo since his first iTunes album, so I watched this as soon as it came out on Netflix. Lockdown here in LA was intense and this was the creativity, catharsis and healing I needed at the time. I’ve watched / rewatched many reactions to his work on YouTube and it never ceases to amaze me how profoundly his art affects people, your reaction was great to watch. It made me smile to know it inspired your creativity. More than likely I found your channel soon after “Inside” came out, and you have helped provide me with solace then and now. I suggest watching (not so much reacting to) his very first works, when he was in his room making content as a teen; he’s a creative genius. Of course, all his other specials are a must watch, but seeing his origin, development and genius unfold is inspired (and cringe worthy). Thank you Seb
