Why can't they just be happy together? Always another drama lined up to ruin it. Excited to see the final episode and if the ultimate barrier is going to be removed for them or mess it up entirely. There hasn't been any homophobia shown at this point that I remember, so will be interesting to see how each person reacts to it.

This episode solidified just how much of a f*cking little shit August is 🤬 (which I have to give credit to the actor, Malte Gårdinger, for… he seems super likeable in IRL/interviews🤯). Under normal circumstances I would have loved Wilhelm challenging him to protect Simon. But just having the weight of that video hanging in the air, all I felt was anxiety. (Him telling Simon that he protected him because he “didn’t want to lose [him]” 🥺) That being said, regardless of August’s meddling, the couple would have always arrived at the crossroad presented going forward into the next episode: Wilhelm is still the crown prince, so he would have to decide what role Simon would play in his future (if any). August merely presented this predicament sooner/gave them less time to figure that out.
