I love each Marvel TV show for different reasons. I loved WandaVision because nothing like that has ever been done before with a TV show. Then this show, as you watch more and more episodes you'll notice you love it for the different message it provides

Jo

Love this show for what it does for Sam and Bucky both, plus some interesting concepts it throws out.

DEEP BREATHS. This is my fave. I cannot wait to watch this through with you omfg. EDIT: Okay, as a Bucky/Seb girl, the beginning of this is sending me into outer space. The shirt, the mask, the cutout, I actually shouted lmao I cannot deal. Too funny. The Chris Evans cutout and the Ransom Drysdale drip was good enough. This is next level. XD

Davide

I prefer the more out there MCU shows, such as WandaVision, but I don't dislike any of them

harexx

where do you even get these cutouts lol

I feel like the “Captain Crunch” pun at the end was right there 😂 But yes, this episode does a good job at setting up what the world looks like post-blip. It’s also the episode when Sam realizes how much he f*cked up by giving up the shield 😬

This was an interesting first episode, intrigued to where it's going to take things. I don't have a clue who this new Captain America is but I'm guessing he is going to be terrible. The first scenes were pretty incredible, I couldn't tell whether some of it was real or not. I really like that we are getting to see some of the real life stuff from these characters. Bucky is pretty hilarious but also kinda heartbreaking. Can't imagine trying to tell someone that you killed someone they loved, whether you had responsibility or not. He's also been alone for so long and even Steve has kinda gone. I guess maybe this show will make him and Sam closer so that he has someone to turn to. I'm guessing the world doesn't really know the face of the Winter Soldier so he won't really ever be recognised as such. I like the new military guy they have added so far as well.

I personally enjoy this show. But... Clearly, the reason people either like or do not like this show is for the same reason. It's not what you think of as a superhero show - It's a gritty down-to-earth realistic show. Whereas Wandavision is really reliant on the heros' powers itself.

KiwiJello

I loved this show. Fuck people and their stupid opinions ;)

This is a great show in so many ways! It has so many high points and is super successful in making you care about the characters. But I think the issues people have with it are understandable once you’ve seen the whole thing. This show was the most affected by the pandemic and a lot of things had to be changed/edited together.

Inhuman Paradox

Not a whole lot of people dislike the show, just the finale and the way the show treats one character in particular (I can't get into it without spoilers, but it's a case of what's told to us not being what's shown to us, so the feeling the writing wants to evoke isn't what we're actually getting).

I LOVE TFATWS and personally think it's better than Loki (which I also loved). Can't wait for you to watch more :)

Rushara

A lot of people found bringing reality of real life, cannot reveal without spoilers, was a bit much but for me out of all the tv shows this is more Marvel than Wandavision but its only my opinion.

Sebastian Stan is 6ft

The museum is real, its a travelling Marvel museum currently in Chicago then onto Ohio. Love it to come over to the UK.

Benjamin Price

haha! Love the cutout of Sebastian. Maybe don't go and (whipped) cream all over this one yeah? XD

That's not really it. A lot of those same people who dislike this show loved Daredevil and Jessica Jones, which were even grittier and way darker. The reason some disliked this show was some of the messages were handled clumsily. Which to some people was enough to really offset the entire show. It wasn't for me, I'd much rather have clumsy messages but great character development, action, and writing rather than the other way around. But I can see why to some, the clumsy handling of the themes might put them off it.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is actually my favorite of the Disney+ shows so far. It has a few issues, but I love the grounded, gritty feel of this show. I've always been a sucker for the more grounded, street-level stories in the MCU (one reason why Captain America: The Winter Soldier is still my favorite MCU film). As others have mentioned, parts of this show had to be changed last-minute because of the pandemic, which is why the show runs into a few issues later on. But overall, it's really fun but does get quite deep at times, which I really appreciated. I hope you continue to enjoy it!

Don Nguyen

its captain grandpa from up 🤣

Davide

Some people prefer this to the other Disney+ MCU shows because it's more grounded, other people like it less for the same reason. I'm in the second camp, but it's simply a matter of preference. And I'm confused when I see MCU fans who dislike it, but I don't think that's common. It's more that people sometimes interpret "least favourite" to mean the person doesn't like it, which doesn't have to be the case.

Sam Saavedra

Glad you’re enjoying it so far. I love WandaVision, but so far this has been my favorite Marvel show. They did such a good job with Sam and Bucky.

The new Captain America is Steve Rodgers if he was purchased from WISH.com

I loooooooooove how much you're enjoying the show - THIS is my favorite Disney+ MCU show to date (I dig all the others, with big love to WandaVision and Loki in particular, but Falcon and the Winter Soldier gets right to my heart). In the comics, Steve Rogers doesn't even make my top 25 favorite Marvel Characters... but the MCU variation and the people around him just speak directly to where I live as a person. Sam is a big fave of mine in comics and I really enjoy getting to see them feature him so fully in this show. And Bucky, a character I never gave two cents for in the comics, gives me ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the feels in the MCU, so I love getting to see more of Sebastian Stan's superb work on display. I am thrilled to get to watch this in the passenger seat with ya.
