This episode POPPED OFF 🤯 The ending with the Beast Titan leaving the scout to be ripped apart 🤭 Haunting.

It's kinda difficult to remember which wall is which and I will have to look them up to make this comment but will try to give context to the walls in this episode. Wall Maria was the wall taken down in the first episodes of the show. Later Trost was attacked, Wall Rose was fine though, Eren plugged the wall of Trost with a boulder as well. The Survey Corps fought The Female Titan in the forest between Wall Maria and Wall Rose. The titans and Beast Titan in this episode were between Wall Rose and Wall Sina (the inner most wall) so they have to assume there is a breach in Wall Rose which would also mean that they will lose almost all the land within the original three walls and be a total nightmare if all the land in Wall Rose is lost hence why they are all making such a huge deal of it. Also Titans are only known to attack and slaughter humans, they are not known to attack animals so the Beast Titan attacking that horse was extremely unusual

i dont think that watching the intros are bad at all. the creators put things in there to have things to look forward to seeing throughout the season. at least thats how i see it. I also think itd be pretty cool to have u pause and read the little public disclosure bits to see your reaction

Davide

I managed to watch the whole first season, with the reactions, since Monday until now. Now I can actually be part of the conversations in the comments. But I'm going to have to wait until tomorrow to watch these episodes.

I loved it and I'm really glad I won't have to wait years to finish the show. I didn't write any comments on the season, since I was late enough that I thought no one would see. But now I know at least one person will read this, so here goes. The action scenes are great, there's often a lot of strategy to fighting titans, which keeps it really engaging. It's great at doing suspense, which is helped by the show being brutal. The fact that characters can actually die naturally increases the tension. There's amazing shocking revelations, specially Eren as a titan. And those often lead to more questions and I love mystery based plots. I expect that aspect to get even better now that the characters have some knowledge that the show can built more mystery upon. The music does a great job at setting the mood for whatever they want us to feel, hype, suspense, etc. I have a hard time thinking of any negatives, I guess maybe the season could have told the same plot in slightly less episodes.

why does he keep on saying Armin in Colossal 🥲

This season started off guns blazing. A titan in one of the walls and a titan talking, I love new exciting mysterious lore. I imagine there's a person in the beast titan, but neither Eren nor Amy talked in titan form. But the beast titan was asking about the 3d maneuver devices, so he doesn't know it. Which immediately eliminates all the military people as possibilities for being the beast titan.

You know AOT season 2 came out 4 YEARS after season 1 could you imagine

Iris

The intro throws you off a lot so take everything you saw with a grain of salt; wouldnt think of it as a spoiler.

In the sub I watched on Crunchyroll, the Beast titan says something like "you know we reside in the nape" meaning nape of the neck, so I do think that there's a person in the beast titan. I'm starting to kind of be convinced that there's someone in ALL of the titans, because the only way to kill them is to slice the neck in that exact spot. Maybe if you are in titan form long enough you forget you're human? I don't even know what to expect next haha such a great show so far!
