I honestly loved this so much embracing all the cringey moments, and it is actually not as bad as everyone says I won't lie. Might be the most fun I have had with a film for a while lol

Oh boy, here we go 🤭 You have made the Twi-Hards so happy today! I remember I used to sh*t on these books so hard UNTIL I was dragged to see this in theatres (and I lowkey loved it 🤯). I then went on to read all the books, go to all the midnight movie premieres, etc. 🤣🤣🤣 (Don’t get me wrong, I’m able to recognize how silly they are now, but I can appreciate them for what they are) My main takeaway after my first viewing: “WHY IS EVERYONE IN THIS MOVIE ATTRACTIVE? IS THIS ALLOWED?”

the first film is so good 😭 it had a proper indie vibe, the soundtrack went so hard for no reason (Robert Pattinson’ song was the highlight imo), and was directed by Catherine Hardwicke, which was so cool, but once it became a global phenomenon, they gave the rest of film saga to three different guys to direct ;-; not saying that the material was amazing to begin with, but the potential was insurmountable 🤌🏼 really glad you’re checking them out, we’ll be laughing our asses off right there with you 🥳

I was obsessed with the books and films and used to be team Jacob (ew) but now I'm ✨ team Charlie ✨ Also I feel Edward in the films never translated that well, he feels a bit more fun and lighthearted in the books

*Aside from the blood drinking, this book/film series doesn’t follow traditional vampire lore. It’s understandable to be lost in regards to those details. *Up to you if you wanna continue the series, you seemed to have fun with this one 🤷🏻‍♂️😂 *Despite the uneven quality of the movies, all of the soundtracks are 🔥

Twilight is the kind of movie series (and book series btw) that had great potential and great concepts that was kind of ruined by silly and frankly questionable decisions. The writing of the movie is also so much worse then the book. That being said, I def. Loved the books and movies when I was a teen lol. I was quite in love with jacob actually, he'll get a lot more screen time next movie. You're reaction was great and funny as always 🙂

This is what I’ve been waiting for. I love it when people react to this hilarious movie. Also, Charlie is the best character in the franchise.. I’m sooo #teamcharlie. I’m also #team emmett. Both lesser characters but amazing. Emmett gets seriously cut out of the movies. He wasn’t huge in the books but he was always around for a great one liner and his patience with Rosalie is unequalled. I hope you’re doing the entire series. I cannot wait for the rest.

I have a love hate relationship with these movies cuz while they are super cringe in some moments, it's actually an interesting story and the first one is a whole vibe. With the way it's made like a small indie film and the blue tint over the whole thing, idk I love it for some weird reason even though majority of the time im rolling my eyes at the cringe! I think the first one is my fav just for the vibes, but the next couple I would say are better story wise because u get more action and stuff. U definitely need to continue doing them, cuz if u enjoyed this one as much as u did I feel like you'll definitely like the following ones.

As always the books were a lot better than the movies. In the movies everything happens so fast, where in the book they didnt "fall in love" until the second half of the book. The movies did get progressively better.

The entire saga is easy to make fun of because there is no shortage of cringe-y scenes with over-dramatic dialogue and strange editing, but since you've started it, I'd say finish it. It's bad, but still entertaining and will make for good reactions.

I definitely suggest watching the rest at some point. They are good fun. Some very melodramatic toxic teen relationship stuff mixed in with some surprisingly good action and lore! I used to be Team Edward but at 35 I'm Team Charlie all the way. Most reliable man in the franchise. What a good dad.

I cringe so hard thinking of my Twilight phase. I was always Team Rosalie. Back then, Kristen and Rob went on a mall signing tour around the US. My friends and I drove to one of the stops. You had to pay money for the signing but they did a free public Q&A. We waited like three hours for the Q&A. Which was a mistake because as soon as they came out, everyone screamed so loud, we couldn't hear anything they said the entire time even though they had microphones. It was insane. Definitely react to the rest. They're...entertaining lol.

Seb, I'm on my hands and knees begging for you to finish this series!! They're such comfort watches for me as someone who was simply obsessed as a tween. It's been said before but part of why they got such a bad wrap was because the majority of the fanbase was teen girls, and people just love to shit on them and the things they like. Sure, they're incredibly overdramatic and cringey but that's part of what makes them so fun! Nothing that was popular on the scale that this was is going to be god awful. So glad you enjoyed it!

You have to react to them all!! I've always described both the books and the movies as addictive trash. Not much intellectual value, but crazy entertaining and SOOOO addictive! The relationships are toxic, the stories are farfetched, and the characters are overly dramatic, and every bit of them are fun and compelling! IMO, the third book and movie are the best!

you have no idea how many times i read these books when i was a young teen, like i was addicted, I knew page numbers for specific scenes LOL. My favourite books are 1 and 3 and but my favourite movie i think is the 2nd. the music is just so good paired with some scenes, one of them is actually one of my favourite scenes ever

You had a lot of fun with this one! I was a team Jasper girl to be fair. I always loved his absolute devotion to Alice. I think Edward and Jacob are both problematic but that said they are fun movies to watch and enjoy! In the books there is way more build up between Edward and Bella to explain why she loves him so much. In addition she makes a comment that she has never quite fit in In her life. Like she is basically the child parent of her mother. She did all the cooking, cleaning, shopping and budgeting of their household. She is also extremely clumsy. With Edward she knows he will not let her clumsiness hurt her (other vampires aside) and she is able to let go of caring for everyone else and just be in the moment. I imagine it is a relief to be with him. These movies are incredibly fun to watch and I truly hope you continue them. My husband and I are excited to continue. Also not mentioned much here in this movie but rather in companion stories Alice has no memory of her life before becoming vampire but was created by another vampire to save her from a vampire who was hunting her. That hunting vampire was James. Just an interesting side note.

@Timi yep, driven through Forks a few times...it's actually a bit smaller of a town than portrayed in Twilight and not quite as cute. But, La Push and the coast are beautiful. The Hoh Rainforest is a must visit.

Awwwww Seb you liked it! I was prepared for a full roasting but you actually got it. I read the books as they were still being written (literally had to wait for publication ugh) and the movie really doesn't hold a light to the book, but it wasn't supposed to be as successful as it was. It was just a little indie type film no one had any clue. So when the movie came out and everyone started to read the books it just BLEW UP. I literally cannot WAIT for the rest now. GAGGING FOR IT just like Bella lmao

The cringe never leaves and even amps up at points but I agree with you, the story isn’t just some bullshit it actually is interesting and has some dynamic pieces. It’s just not intellectually demanding and that deep. But super fun. Sooo interested to see if you remain Team Edward if you keep watching. 😁😁

I was one of those people that didn't want to watch the movie or read the books because they were so popular and I wasn't into "vampire stuff". I started reading the books when I was hormonal and pregnant and fell in love lol. In this movie though the part where he laughed and said "You put on your seatbelt" is my least favorite line ever lol. I skip it almost every time. Love that you're reacting to these movies
