Interesting that several people seem unhappy with this episode. It was my favourite one so far!

Elsa B

I honestly think this was a great episode. Constant fighting and action is just going to get boring in the long run. It's definitely not supposed to be an Avengers movie. The plot, the characters, the setting and the portrayal of Marc's mental disorder are just great. You can feel how shattered he is. I also liked how they are potentially alluding to other personalities, and how they introduced us to some of the other Avatars and deities.

I'm definitely happy that we're not getting constant pointless fighting for the sake of some "action". This episode was great, not as great as the first two for me, but still great.

Steven Jump

The fit guy Anton( Midnight Man) is played by Gaspard Ulliel who died in January in a skiing accident.

Gambit

He's such a talented actor to have us believing these are two separate people entirely! Loved it! Great reaction Seb! xoxo <3

I'm shocked a lot of people aren't more blown away by Oscar Isaac's acting, specifically in the scene in the desert when he's holding the mirror and switches from Marc to Steven in an instant. I had to rewind it a couple times just to admire him. If nothing, Oscar is giving a master class in acting in this series! Also his hair is just phenomenal.

You have to wonder if Layla had dealings with Sharon Carter in Madripoor, as there was so much talk of the black market in this episode. Also noticed one of the avatars had some African garb on, and wonder if there's connection to the god that gives the Black Panther his/her power. Lots of little nuggets of info that you catch during subsequent viewings.

Such a fun episode! Probably my least favorite of the three we've seen so far, but still pretty fantastic. Oscar Isaac is such an acting powerhouse...the subtleties in his face and physicality when he switches between Steven and Marc are phenomenal, as well as the scene in front of the Ennead when he had to switch between Marc and Khonshu so abruptly. Lots of little gems in this episode...I'm wondering if Bast (the Egyptian goddess who Black Panther is connected to) is somehow connected to the Ennead. Plus, I'm thinking that Madripoor reference is for a reason. Perhaps Layla knows Sharon Carter? Also, I wonder if Khonshu turning back the night sky will have further ramifications on the MCU. So many questions! Can't wait for this week's episode!

After this show they’ll be a lil break in super hero tv shows. I HIGHLY recommend you watch invincible, it’s a animated super hero show that is absolutely amazing, I guarantee you’ll love it, and it’d make for some insane reaction content
