Shadowy Brook (Patreon)

Hello again, everyone- this is the Shadowy Brook (24x30), a rocky stretch of a stream with fallen scattered about and small patchy paths on either bank. I had a little fun with the colors of this map, going with something a bit more realistic over my typical sunny and hyper-vibrant forest palette. I fell like these colors are more fitting for a stream which I imagined being nestled between mountains, so more of an alpine palette I think. I honestly think it looks really nice, and I hope you agree!

If you're in America I hope you had a good Thanksgiving! I was fighting off a nasty little cold and lost a tiring battle against insomnia for much of the week, which is why this map is being posted unprecedentedly late. I would love to get back to posting on Mondays somehow, but who knows how I'll pick up those extra days- it would require me to make a ridiculously simple map in order to save that much time.. so don't be too surprised sometime later this month when I post something ridiculously simple. At the very least I'll try to make sure it's larger than what I've been posting- I've heard your complaints about the scale of my recent maps and I promise I'll take immediate action to indulge you.
