Krakoa
–Mike–
He mentally contacted Charles Xavier to get the X-Jet through a specific maze he created through the fog that now surrounded not just the island but its surrounding waters as well. The reason he did that, instead of just allowing them direct entry onto the island, was for two reasons.
One, it gave the impression that the island was protected and needed a specific way to gain entry, something that would be useful later on once it was publicised, as they began taking mutants from all over the world into the nation he was going to build here.
Secondly, it was an experiment of sorts, to see if he could exert fine control over the many, many abilities of the sentient island that he could now access. Seriously, the catalogue was dizzying, making him question just how the island could have acquired them. He could tell that the island could kill and absorb mutants to gain their abilities, but mutants as a whole were on a rise right now, instead of the many millennia this island must have spent floating around.
So, the question arose. Just how many mutants and over how many years? Or was it something akin to the island absorbing a handful of mutants with multiple abilities? But if that were the case, then how could Krakoa absorb those mutants?
Shaking his head, he dismissed those thoughts and focused on the tickets her received from the act.
Looking at the notifications tab of the Gacha system, he smiled as he saw…
For subjugating a Sentient Island and chaining it to your will, Legendary X1
For increasing your terror rating across the globe, Gold X1
For taking the first step to becoming King, Silver X1
A smile formed on his lips as he, as was tradition, rolled the lowest tier ticket.
The Silver Ticket got him…

Common Item
Team Fortess 2 - "Don't even try to pronounce it" This sword is a very durable and sharp zweihander with a unique enchantment on it, allowing it to take a portion of whoever it has beheaded's energy and use it to refuel the user's energy.
He sighed, expecting a useless roll but still disappointed all the same. He had abilities that could do the same, without the condition of beheading someone. Oh, well, he could just give it to someone as a reward.
After all, a King must reward his subjects, else the King risked revolution.
He snorted at the chuunni thought before moving on to the next Gold Ticket. Rolling it, he got…
[Orchard]
Rare Ability
You are able to create fruits and vegetables out of your own energy. The fruits and vegetables you create are extremely refreshing and can have unique properties depending on your abilities.
Had it been just a few weeks ago, he would have been overjoyed to see this ability, as it would have allowed him to use [Spirit Gathering] to take energy from Alcina’s energy and use that to grow fruits and veggies in his Pocket Dimension, becoming truly self sufficient in all forms, which would have obviously led to him turtling up in that dimension.
But now? Now the island could do just that and more, without having to drain energy from him. Now, Ghidorah, a walking fusion nuclear reactor, was the primary energy source for the island. If someday, somehow, Ghidorah’s energy went low, he could just order the Kaiju to absorb energy from the Sun or, in some extreme cases, order it to raid any and all Nuclear Energy sites across the world to get an instant power boost.
He could foresee that amount of energy being required only if he wanted to power a very inefficient ability to do something ridiculous, like fueling that weak matter manipulation ability to create Vibranium in large quantities.
Also, he was kinda glad that he didn’t get this ability from the start; otherwise he would have never reached this stage. Also, there was far more to come, so he was looking forward to that.
Nevertheless, even if the ability itself was not immediately useful to him, it added to the count towards the next ability slot. Right now, he had 21 abilities and five ability slots. Only four more abilities before he unlocked six slots.
Now, even with just five slots open, he could do some truly impressive things, especially because of the traits that had thoroughly changed his body, but he did not think his fighting ability would undergo a drastic change even with the sixth slot.
For one, he had both the Ghiodrah as well as the island under his command. Also, for the foreseeable future, he did not plan on leaving the island. He was not going to risk anything and was, in a way, repeating the strategy he employed when he first got the Pocket Beach dimension.
Now, he was just going to convert that place into his personal paradise, once he had the Kingdom up and running, and could command some labour force that could get things done for him.
Feeling the X-jet reach the later stages of the puzzling path he’d opened up for them, he rolled the last and most important ticket. The Legendary ticket, one of the highest tier tickets he had received in this world.
[Viltrumite Physiology]
Mythical Ability
Invincible - You are basically a pure-blooded Viltrumite, which means insane durability, the ability to freely move through space to fly, incredible physical abilities, enhanced sensory abilities, and a very adaptable body.
No sooner had he read through the ability, he slotted it in and howled with mad laughter as he felt the changes take place. Hovering in place effortlessly, he flexed his hands, feeling the explosive power in them, so much so that he felt he could break the island in half if he so wished, and he probably could.
The joy just kept on bubbling forth, to the point he felt Xavier on the other side grow terrified of the sheer mental upgrade he got from becoming a Viltrumite, as he felt all the various traits that upgrade his body help him reach a previously unthinkable level.
He felt as if he could face World Breaker Hulk in straight combat and defeat him with ease. Well, with ease might be an exaggeration, what with the euphoria of the power-up, but the fact that he was able to even compare to that Monster was amazing!
Truly, it was a worthy reward, as expected of a Legendary Ticket!
With this, he truly had nothing to fear, not from mutants, not from the governments, not even from any nuclear weapons. The only people he might have to look out for would be all the magical societies and people from Kamar Taj. Even from Kamar Taj, it would be the Ancient One who posed the biggest threat to him.
She could, even now, just trap him in the Mirror Dimension, and while he could get out because of the Tarot Card, her abilities with the Time Stone were what made her truly dangerous. He had a get out of jail card that could be used with a week’s downtime, but she could just as easily send him to Hell or to the Dark Dimension, and let him be overwhelmed by the native denizens.
While the chances of that happening were next to nil, he was not going to even risk it, especially with the breadth of abilities he now had access to and could do basically anything, gain everything.
He had a lot more to gain and everything to lose, hence, he was going to remain on the path of good, which was not a compromise since it worked out for his moral compass and became a Good and Benevolent King. That way, he would have diplomatic immunity from most nations and hopefully, that allowed the Ancient One to make the decision in his favour, since time was supposed to be all kinds of confusing in all directions.
Shaking his head, he sent in the final command for the fog to open up, revealing the island in its entirety to the X-Jet heading towards him.
He smirked in amusement as he felt the brief spike in panic from Xavier’s mental link. With the way he had angled the fog, and the way it blotted out every method of detection, the X-Jet and its inhabitants had no way of knowing just what angle they were flying at and just how close they were to the island. Which is why the X-Jet was now heading straight towards him, with the pointy bit pointed at the ground, at high speeds.
Well, not at the highest speeds since they were cautious, but it did take a while for them to slow down and then hover in place, looking at him. He shut down the mental link between him and Xavier, and waved his hand towards the Jet, causing a jagged spike of Earth to shoot out of the island surface.
Only instead of impaling the jet and killing everyone inside, the earth exploded and turned into a sludge that grabbed the Jet and safely landed the whole thing on the ground.
There was silence in the air all around them, with him casually floating off the ground, and this time, he knew that even without his telepathy, Charles Xavier and even the inhabitants of the plane knew that something had changed. He could foresee Logan growling at him, his senses going haywire at the threat ahead of them.
With the show of power done, the earth that had solidified around the X-Jet softened before it was absorbed back into the ground, with no visible sign of the manipulation of the very earth around them. The jet was also safely landed on the ground.
After a few tense minutes, wherein he did nothing but stare at them with the same impassive look on his face, the ramp on the other side of the Jet opened with a slight grunt, likely impacted by the abrupt landing the Jet had to experience. Still, he expected better from the team that had someone of Hank McCoy's calibre on their team. With his expertise, he should have been able to design a much more robust Ramp opening mechanism.
Then again, the ultimate decision lay in the hands of the executive, just like the rest of the world, i.e., Charles Xavier, and he could definitely foresee the Old Man taking the decision to reinforce the rest of the Jet instead of the lowering mechanism.
Either way, the thing worked as Xavier and Co., along with Magneto, rolled out of the Jet, some more so in a literal sense than the others.
Snickering slightly at his own insensitive joke, he landed in front of the wary looking group of mutants and spread his arms, as if showing off his creation. At a mental command, literal mountains rose from behind him, blotting out the light that was already hindered by the Fog all around the island.
It was exceptionally amusing to watch the cream of the crop, the top of the top when it came to mutant powers and experience with said powers, look behind him with wide eyes, the realisation in their eyes all the more pleasing to his newly empowered self.
He reminded himself, though, to keep that in line. He couldn't let himself be led around by his own pride and hubris. Sure, he was uber powerful now, most probably capable of wrecking entire countries and maybe even continents on his own, especially once he had had the time to properly ramp up the principle abilities of the Viltrum Race, but even so, it would be the epitome of foolishness to let arrogance be his undoing, especially now that he finally had all this power and potential in his hands.
“So,” he said, snapping the mutants in front of him out of their daze, “What do you guys think?”
After all, it was not every day that one saw someone wave their hands and create a large mountain out of nowhere.
“I think,” Magneto was the one to take the lead this time, with everyone else too shocked to respond, “That provided you were truthful with your words, mutantkind is about to experience a New Age.”
Charles looked conflicted about the whole thing, as it was basically the same as him losing and Magneto being proven right, with the only thing that Magneto lacked, an uber powerful deterrent, now present with similar ideologies to his own.
Still, it would be beneficial to everyone involved if he made sure Xavier did not feel too isolated from them, otherwise, who knows what kind of ticking time bomb an almost Omega Level Telepath could turn into. Even with Krakoa on his side, he would much rather have Xavier on his side.
After all, if Xavier and Magneto were both convinced about the viability of his project, then right then and there, more than half of the work was done, as it would eliminate options within the global mutant community for protection.
Up until now, mutants, at least in North America, that is, had mainly two options if they did not want to join some local gangs or the government, both options which had many downsides, X-Men and the Brotherhood, led by Xavier and Magneto respectively.
But now? Now, with the advent of Ghidorah and his very public presence, he had created a third option, but even before the information had become public, he could capitalise on just dissolving the two existing factions and just create a singular option.
It would be very beneficial to their cause. He could see Magneto agreeing without any issue. Only Xavier might give some pushback, but even if the old telepath did not agree, he would have no issue, as sooner rather than later, human greed, hatred, and stupidity would rear their ugly head and teach Xavier a lesson about trusting humanity too much. If not Xavier, then the mutants under him would see everything about his utopian nation and would inevitably leave.
He could already see his vision coming true. After all, he most definitely wasn’t going to rule like a despot. He had no interest in that, especially since that was a proven way to get ousted from rule. Anyway—
He was snapped out of his thoughts by Charles rolling forward and speaking, “I think we should have an in-depth discussion of what this nation of yours will entail.”
“Yes,” Magneto cheerfully agreed, probably having an entirely different mindset when he agreed to the discussion than Xavier, “We should strike while the rest of the world is unprepared for us. No one could have expected you to move so fast.”
He nodded, agreeing with them, waving his hand, as everyone around him tensed, expecting the ground beneath them to swallow them whole or something but this time, something different happened, as he tapped into his abilities as a Thunderbird, manipulating the wind around them to lift everyone off the ground a foot or so before they were off, to a pre made cabin, all with soft touch materials, as well as freshly plucked fruits plated in a wooden setting, along with water in, you guessed it, wooden cups.
As one might expect, it was far easier, in terms of cost, to just manipulate what was naturally available on the island instead of manipulating or processing matter into something else. So, stone, water, trees, and more were just a thought away from being summoned for some use.
For the creation of processed material like steel, soft pillows, sofas, concrete, and more, he had to activate the matter manipulation ability with the ridiculous conversion rate from energy to matter, and that too with existing matter, but it was good for a trial run.
He could feel the shock oozing from the mutants gathered, about the whole cabin thing, especially since just a scant few hours ago, this entire island was just a mass of greenery and rocks, with no special characteristics whatsoever, but now? Now, it was more than capable of housing tens of thousands of mutants without any issue, all created in the span of minutes rather than hours, all because of the energy provided by Ghidorah.
Truly, he could use his familiar in multiple ways.
To think that the Kaiju that most of the world thought of as a scary deterrent, he thought of as a battery. Well, he supposed that things had changed for him now, what with becoming a Viltrumite, one of the most broken races in Anime.
He had real life Zenkai boost now, albeit a much slower version and likely not as absolute as the ones Goku and Vegeta had, but the fact that he had something that was the dream of millions of kids and adults from his previous universe was amazing enough.
“So, let’s discuss details, shall we?” He began, levitating filled cups of water to everyone, who took hesitant sips before looking slightly surprised.
“Before we do that, however,” He grinned and said excitedly, “Let me tell you my vision about this place, and also how this sole island can serve as the monument to mutantkind and its amazingness, protected by me and Ghidorah, so you should have no worry about the governments coming after us.”
“What is in the water?” He chuckled at the enthusiastic tone in the question, as the water itself was one of the best tasting and purest waters that was ever produced, courtesy of yet another ability that the island had access to, and just needed pure energy to utilise.
He could theoretically use it to make oceans full of fresh water, as long as he had the energy for it and sadly, just like most abilities in the catalogue of Krakoa, the ability was not very efficient, which meant that sooner rather than later, he was going to have to search for a way to either get the island a permanent energy source that was not dependent on anything from the outside world or find a way to make sure Ghidorah is recharged all the time.
Either way, energy independence would go a long way in making sure that their island, his utopia, was not hampered by concerted efforts of the outside world. After all, once they had the energy thing sorted out, food and water would turn into non issues.
In fact, if they could find some sort of magical unlimited energy solution, he could go one step further and act as the philanthropy king of the world, transporting his entire island, and serving as a mobile food and clean water generator to war torn or natural disaster torn areas around the world.
Once the public saw what was being offered, well, then, that would be the moment the floodgates would truly open.
….That day was far, so baby steps it was.
