A/N - Well, I had multiple people asking for the same thing so here it is! Also, this is the END!

Disclaimer - I don't own any of the characters appearing in High School DXD or the Anime or the manga whatsoever.

–Vali Lucifer–

The door to her office was pushed open as she snapped at whoever it was before they could even take a step in. “What?”

“I see that you are busy with your work,” Sirzechs Lucifer, the bane of her life, now retired Satan Lucifer, walked directly into her office and sat down in front of her desk, looking supremely relaxed with everything. Everything within her body told her to just chuck a ball of her power at the man and be done with everything.

But what use would it be? She would never be able to meaningfully hurt him, and even if she did, it would just increase her workload, and she might just be tempted to burn it all down.

“What do you want?!” So, she chose to chuck a ball of her power at him, as he slapped it away, vaporising it with his own power. This was her routine these days, as she slogged away behind a desk, and then went home to train with her powers. That had been her life for the past decade or so.

“I just wanted to check in on you,” Sirzechs said, shrugging. “After all, you are the hardest working Lucifer.”

“I am the only Lucifer.”

“My point still stands.”

“Why are you really here? I still have some work left before I can go home, so quickly spit it out, or I will call Grayfia here.”

“What will she do? I am retired, if you forgot.”

She raised an eyebrow. “You do realise that I am going to train Milicas someday? That I can influence his young, impressionable mind?”

Sirzechs let out a dramatic gasp at that. “What? You wouldn’t?! How could you!”

She just ignored him and focused on her work, which never seemed to go down.

“Aldric has agreed to meet you.” She paused in her work, the pen hovering above the paper, before she continued working, acting as if that did not affect her at all. She had better things to do than go and chase after someone who probably didn’t even….remember….her.

Taking a moment to center herself, she replied, “And?”

“And what? You created such a big ruckus just to get a meeting with him, and now, he has finally agreed to meet you.”

She sighed before looking up, “Yeah. After 10 years. Also, I know by now that no matter what I do, I am never going to get to meet Mag anyway. That ship has sailed. He is simply beyond me, beyond any of us now. You know that.”

Sirzechs sighed, “Yes, we all know that. But Aldric has agreed to a meeting in exchange for some pretty hefty concessions. I just arranged the meeting. I will have someone send over the details. It’s your choice. My suggestion is that even if you won’t be able to see him ever again, I think you deserve closure.

“What closure is there to be gained from this? I know I fucked up. I know he is gone. I don’t know if or when he will be back. I know I am never going to be able to look him in the eye, and I know that it is far more likely that he would just vaporise me on the spot. So, no, I don’t think there’s any point in going to Aldric, just to get some scraps of information on Magdaran.”

Sirzechs smiled at her with that stupid understanding smile before getting up. “As I said, it was a suggestion. These days, I can’t really order you to do anything, can I? Anyways, I will see you over the weekend.”

The door closed behind him as she stopped her work, before leaning back, looking back up at the ceiling, lost deep in thought.

Magdaran was gone. That was certain.

He did not care much for her. That was true as well. Not even to kill or hurt her in any way. He made sure to meet Sai, made sure to give Ajuka his due, even though all it did was make Ajuka more laser focused than ever, and left Aldric here. He met Azazel and killed Odin, but didn’t even meet her.

She sighed, shaking her head, trying to get those thoughts out of her mind. Meeting Aldric would not solve anything. The Zagan, by his own admission, had told the world that his teacher was likely gone, forever, and that he had no methods of contacting his teacher. If any communication did happen, then it would have to come from Magdaran himself.

–Aldric Zagan–

“Please, you have to help her!” He smiled as Yasaka, the proud Nine-Tailed Fox Youkai, ruler of Youkia, begged him to heal her daughter, injured in an attack, before his hand shot out, straightening up Yasaka and bringing her daughter to him.

A single tap to her nose told him what had happened. His face scrunched as he purged the soul poison, before giving little Kunou a Tune-Up as teacher used to call that process, making her hale once more.

Handing over her daughter, he instructed, “Make sure you keep her away from direct sunlight for a while. Also, while I have healed her now, please have a chat with your Gods. It would seem they do not care if their blessings can turn into curses for weak Youkai.”

Her eyes widened in understanding before she bowed to him and left.

Once she did, a tree branch shot out from under the floor, and the moment it made contact with his body, information was transmitted to him as he disappeared from the spot and appeared in his office, in front of a very tense Vali Lucifer.

Assuming a neutral expression, he gestured for her to go on, “Well? Go on. A lot of concessions were given for this meeting. So, ask away. You have exactly 15 minutes before I run out of patience.”

Vali remained silent even then, and he had to commend her for controlling her temper like that. The past ten years had proven quite beneficial for Vali. She had risen through the ranks, reaching power levels rivalling Sirzechs. Not him, though. With his tree, he was beyond all of them.

Beyond her power, though, it was her entire life she had turned around. From what he could glean, Vali Lucifer did nothing but work and train. Train for what? He did not know. She did not spar with people as regularly as she did before.

He had a hunch of what it could be for, but even she couldn't be that delusional, right?

“I want to know where Magdaran is.” She said, and then tensed, as if bracing for something. Well, time to let her know the truth. It was not like he had anything to gain or lose here by lying about his teacher’s whereabouts.

Shrugging, he replied, “I genuinely don’t know. In fact, I have very little hope that I will ever get to see him again. It all depends on his wishes. I don’t even have a way to contact him. Also, with what I know of his powers, if you haven’t met him yet, just know that he does not want to meet you. The way he can bend time to his will, he could spend centuries somewhere else, and still arrive a second after he left. So, time is not an issue for him. Rest, you can understand.”

There, he said it. The naked truth. It was all he could give Vali, in the form of closure. He knew she was attracted to his teacher, but he also knew that even if Vali had not betrayed Magdaran, he never looked at her the same way she did.

Her dreams were doomed from the start. He had actually hoped that the way she had thrown herself into work, even going so far as to go back to the Underworld and begin her work on the betterment of the Devil race as a whole, meant she had moved on. Sure, ten years was not a long time for Devils, but she was a Half Devil and, as such, had a shorter time frame, even if her power meant that she could live for literally forever, as long as she did not do something stupid and get herself killed.

“So,” She whispered, “He does not want to see me at all?”

He shrugged, seeing the tears in her eyes. “I don’t know what to tell you. You did betray him, after all. Honestly, the fact that you are still standing here is a miracle. You have Sophie to thank for that.”

Her neck snapped up as she asked, “Sophie? Who’s Sophie?”

He smiled fondly, remembering Sophie and how his teacher had introduced him to her after the battle. The girl was stupidly powerful, and more than capable of matching even his teacher, but she was still too young, and most importantly, she was Magdaran’s daughter. A new family member he had crafted with his own two hands, just like the Mother Tree.

Seeing the joy in his teacher’s eyes when he was playing with Sophie was like the best thing he had seen all his life, and it was the best gift his teacher could have given him before Magdaran left for places unknown.

It gave him the peace of mind that Magdaran was not alone, and would not slip back into the sad mindset he feared his teacher would go back to the moment he was alone.

“Sophie….is his daughter. Magdaran has a daughter.”

Tears flowed freely from Vali’s eyes as she whispered, “A daughter? He has a daughter?”

He leaned back in his chair. “Yup. He is also quite happy with the way his life is going. So, I would suggest not wasting time trying to search for him. You are millennia behind even being able to get past the Dimensional Gap, let alone getting past Great Red.”

He then added softly, “It’s over, Vali. Get over it. Go home.”

She flinched as if he’d struck her before nodding and disappearing from his office. He had to turn off the wards for a split second to let her leave; otherwise she would have been minced meat.

Either way, he had given her enough time and more than enough answers, so his part of the deal was done. Hopefully, Serafall held up her end of the bargain.

–Emily–

“Kids! Stop running around! You’ll break something! If you do that, I swear to God, I’ll break you!” She shouted at her little hellions running around, laughing and giggling as their father chased them throughout the house.

She laughed as they passed her, a bundle of chaos running roughshod over her house, which was fine. She could always tidy up the house later on. The kids should have fun. Still, that didn't mean that she couldn’t play the role of a strict mother.

She looked up as the bell rang, “Coming!”

Walking up to the door, she looked through the door to see Vali on the other side. Her much younger friend from the coffee shop. That’s weird. She never gave Vali her address.

Still, she looked sad, as if she had been crying recently, so she opened the door, and– “Vali! What happened? Are you crying? Did some–Oh!”

She stopped mid sentence as Vali just hugged her and began crying. She hesitantly patted Vali on the back as she felt Vali’s tears land on her shoulder, as she softly mumbled, “He’s gone. He’s gone. He does not want to see me anymore.”

Not knowing what to do, she called out to her husband, “Honey!”

Gently, directing Vali to the living room, she said softly, “Come on, let’s get you a nice hot cup of coffee before we can talk, okay? Don’t worry, I am here for you!”

Vali sniffed and nodded as she directed Vali towards the couch.

I expected this already. I imagine that the people asking for this aren't going to be satisfied and we're hoping for something different.

This is exactly how I thought it would go. Sadness that she threw away her one chance when he offered her to be his queen. But all that pride stopped her from realizing that he was reaching out to her. No to her it was all about being a devil.
