This is the episode that kept me going foward and yes that ex wife is a maniac. About the plot, the more episodes you watch the more you'll understand

The drama is on a non-typical kdrama scale. So it’s jarring and it depends on a lot of nuances. Basically, people who loves it, love it but the ones that hates it, hate it.

I must say though, i was screaming when you are screaming lol. No one is expecting a kiss, but you can sort of tell how he looks at her that he is exploding inside. After the kiss, his hand seemingly shakes trying to stop himself. Loving the details on this!

I think it’s a trauma response/trigger since his dad hid cameras in the house to monitor his mom. 🔵Your question about the suitcase, the EX-wife or Jeong-won bought same suitcase probs in past That NEW-wife also has. Bc in EPS. 1 @22:27 NEW wife was looking around husband’s closet & saw the same “Trunk” suitcase. The detectives Also said there were only 3 made in Korea in EPS. 1 when they were at the lake.

I love this show! And I feel the same way you do. I like both shows but I like The Trunk more. It peaks my interest way more. And this episode was crazy!! I can’t stand the ex wife. I really want somebody to put her in her place. lol I am so ready for episode 4.

I agree with you and many others, I enjoy this drama a lot more than "when the phone rings". This is drama is more my taste, based on the writing,(and this is very well written, main guy has already dropped some bars for lines) the genre, the cinematography and the acting. Mr Gong I know is one heck of an actor, and from what I've read his counterpart is a great actress also, and so far it seems to be so. I am enjoying watching both, but this one I am enjoying a lot more. Also the wife is giving, sociopath/narcissist with her behavior....she does seem to want him to suffer, and enjoys playing with him, she gets off on him wanting her and with this new wife, who she did not think would be a threat is doing just that, threatening to ruin the game she is playing.

Love how responsive he is to her having his back and standing up for him, even in small ways. Clearly that release of emotion (and that kiss!!) was part of the start of his healing process -- and cleansing process from that EX!!
