IRL I agree about the consent 1000%. In this show, though, there is that fourth wall where as viewers we already know they are both in to each other and this sleeping beauty would totally be down to kiss if he were awake so they sort of get away with it. It's in part due to the fact that the shy and somewhat clueless boy is soo compelled and curious to scientifically see if a kiss will amplify the crazy feelings in his chest -- beyond that of the "pat" on the head -- but yet can't mentally/emotionally handle the intensity of trying that when Jaeyoung is awake and aware (until he knows more) and there was a bit of an impulse involved as well that we can go along with it. I love how Jaeyoung wakes up and is like 'did he just do what it felt like he just did, or was I dreaming? It can't be...can it?!!!!'. Can't wait for the next episode!!
