This explains a lot of why none of the Avatars Aang talked to didn't know much or anything about Spirit bending if Sonam hid away one of the ways to do it and exiled herself from other Avatars ever knowing or communing with her, and why Aang had to learn it from the Lion Turtle. Also how Korra was able to learn it since Aang had learned it and passed on the information to her. Helped a lot with rebuilding the Air Nation.

I will say the plot wasn't the greatest and overall was the story predictable, but this show was my entire childhood and seeing this movie really hit me. Especially the animation and music were a 10/10. I really wish we could get more animetd movies or a new series from this world.

This series played such a HUGE part of my development growing up. I'm so glad you did this movie! I also appreciate Zuko making sure I was crushing on him as a child and now as an adult lmao they definitely dropped the ball not dropping this in theaters

Also I definitely recommend you watch Legend of Korra, even if it is on your own time! It's a great story, very different than the story we're used to with the GAang but absolutely worth seeing. Korra is an amazingly complex character. Also really enjoyed learning more about Aang and Katara and the rest as parents and adults.
