Nobody in this goddamn show pays attention to their kids and then they wonder why they're running off and talking to murderers and shit. I fault this on the writers though, it's almost like they forget these characters are parents and only use kids when they need problems to happen 😭😭😭

Yes I kind of figured since they had some complaints with s4 which is one of my favorites. S9 is like top 5 for me so I had a feeling.

If Carol knew what Henry is doing right now, she'd be out there hunting them to get him back. Henry is really risking all 3 communities over one girl. Alpha seems more dangerous than Negan or the Governor. I don't want another Abraham and Glenn situation again.

It’s so funny cause both of yall can’t stand Alpha but I thought she was a very cool and different villain at the time. Negan was definitely funnier whereas Alpha was just psychotic but I liked that. It actually made the groups/herds of Walkers scarier because from this point on your constantly on edge like “are there regular people hidden among them or are they just regular walkers?” facing them/running around or away from them isn’t a simple task anymore. Before they could just use noise to distract them, or run fast enough to get away from them but now, it’s a 50-50 chance whether they will get away or there are people hiding with them to guide the Walkers. I can completely understand though why Alpha and the other group of Whisperers isn’t everyone’s cup of tea though 😅 I will say though as much as I love Lydia as a character, I still don’t like Henry and I think he’s an idiot. I understand that he doesn’t want to leave Lydia with a mother who abuses her but Alpha already showed up to Hilltop with just a fraction of the people from her community to get her daughter back (also find out info) but Henry taking Lydia away again is just giving Alpha more ammo and an excuse to keep coming after them.

I gave Henry SO MANY chances but he just kept pissing me off. I’m usually not the one to talk shit about teen/child characters but damn Henry makes it REALLY hard to sympathize with him. I get that he’s an idealist and he’s in love but the way he is acting is just plain selfish. Alpha has been so damn clear about it and he just keeps on ignoring her warnings.

Same. Every season I was previously looking forward to they didnt like. Lol that's okay though. I was so excited for negan storyline to end it was so drug out(in the series imo not them reacting to it. Just the actual show itself) and was pumped to finally make it to the whispers with them. Lol. Oh well cant win them all haha

Yeah I think it’s real that we don’t like every season. If we did I feel like we’d be lying lol With every show some seasons are gonna hit harder than others. Tho the show falls off for us after this point there are still good characters and good episodes. Try to keep in mind we won’t always feel the same as y’all did when watching this for the first time and that’s okay. We’re still gonna Finish it haha

Yeah that’s so fair. I also think people need to bear in mind that when we watched this live, we knew a lot of what’s coming from press junkets, trailers, comic con panels etc. We knew we’d lose Rick & Maggie this season, we knew there would be a time jump & we knew the whisperers were the next threat. So I can see going into that blind, you’d be like “what the hell am I watching”. There’s are a lot of bangers coming up though which I believe you guys will love, so my fingers are crossed - but if not, thanks for keeping it real regardless!

The Whisperers (what they’re called, you don’t find out until 9x15) in my opinion is the best villain group! Beta is even more terrifying than Alpha and I love them both. Daryl and Connie tag teaming is super cute! 🥰 I feel so bad for Lydia, who is brainwashed, not psycho. I so love her though!

henry was brought up with strong morals and his mother's story of being abused. seeing Lydia had been abused. it's going to touch a nerve with him, he made a dumb choice but I get why he made it

its funny see you guys dont liking the villan this season because most twd fans inclusing me love this arc and find this group so interesting like i remember when i first watch it i thought The Whisperers were so sick because its something so new and different than what we've been seeing and its so smart too to blend in with the walkers and use them in your advantage, this was hands down one of my fave villans in twd because it also made the things scarier like letting on the edge without knowing if a herd its just a herd or its people disguised so its interesting see you guys point of view and already dont liking them lmaoo

Yeah apparently everyone hated season 8 and loved season 9 and we’re the opposite. Idk lol I just don’t like the whispers 😩 - I will say that having the walkers “talk” was intriguing but I feel like turning it until actual people in a mask didn’t really stick super well with me. I’m surprised just how many people loved this season tho like 😬 I’m thinking I hope they don’t hate us cause we were not vibing lmao still some good episodes left tho

I agree with you. Rick literally "died" while he was trying to unite the communities and after he is gone they ditched the entire plan...all that he fighted and was hoping for. I understand how Michonne feels but i can never agree that she took the right decision
