Horrifically Overpowered Class Features for Pathfinder 1e - The Warpriest (Paid Patron Excusive!) (Patreon)
Content
Literally the day the final Advanced Class Guide files were sent to the printer, I made a dwarven warpriest using the book version rather than the playtest version and played in a game along the designers and developers. So, I was the very first person to ever plan the by-the-book warpriest.
I do adore the class.
So, making an article of Paid Patron Exclusive Horrifically Overpowered Warpriest Class Features was especially fund for me. Also, this is the last of the hybrid classes. So, it's a good time for Paying Patrons to speak up if you want to see something different for a bit. I could move on to Horrifically Overpowered class features for the occult classes, or write about common issues as a freelance ttRPG professional, or do more short fiction... or maybe you have a specific idea you'd like to see. Let me know!
As always, this article is listed in the paying-member-exclusive Index of Horrifically Overpowered Content, which I update every time a new Horrifically Overpowered product or article goes up. The index also has the Horrifically Overpowered Feat I suggest using to allow characters to access these HO class features.
(Sacred armnor? Check. Sacred weapon? Check. Yes, it's a horrifically overpowered warpriest. Aty by warmtail.)
Horrifically Overpowered Warpriest Class Skills (Horrifically Overpowered): For each blessing you have, select one skill associated from that domain from the list below. Each time you gain a level of warpriest, you gain 1 rank in that skill (this cannot allow you to have ranks in a skill exceeding your character level). If that skill is not a class skill for warpriiests, it also becomes a class skill. If the skill is a warpriest class skill, you may add your Strength of Wisdom bonus to it, rather than its normal ability score. If it is a class skill and already Strength- or Wisdom-based, you gain a +1 bonus to the skill.

Horrifically Overpowered Warpriest Weapon and Armor Proficiency (Horrifically Overpowered): You can use a hand wielding any shield or weapon with which you are proficient to complete somatic components for spells on the cleric spell list. This is true even if you accessed the spell through some class other than warpriest.
Horrifically Overpowered Aura (Horrifically Overpowered): As a swift action you can grant your natural, unarmed, and weapon attacks magic weapon quality based on your aura, as follows: Chaos Aura - anarchic, Evil Aura - unholy, Good - holy, Law - axiomatic, Neutral - fervent (attuned to your deity, and the save DC is the same as your blessing DC rather than set at 13).
Horrifically Overpowered Blessing (Horrifically Overpowered): Your uses of blessing per day and maximum blessing uses per day is increases by half your warpriest level (minimum +1). You can activate your blessing as part of any attack, full attack, or spellcasting action. You add your Strength bonus, if any, to the save DC of any of your blessings.
Horrifically Overpowered Weapon Focus (Horrifically Overpowered): With any weapon you have taken Weapon Focus for, you calculate your base attack bonus as your total character level. At 4th level, you gain Weapon Specialization with any weapon you have taken Weapon Focus with. At 8th level, you gain Greater Weapon Focus with any weapon you have taken Weapon Focus with. At 12th level, you gain Greater Weapon Specialization with any weapon you have taken Weapon Focus with.
Horrifically Overpowered Sacred Weapon (Horrifically Overpowered): When you designate a weapon as a sacred weapon, you can make it's base threat range be 18-20 or its critical multiplier be x3. Bonuses and magic weapon qualities you grant to a weapon using sacred weapon last for 10 times as long as normal. Bane is added to the list of weapon special abilities you can use a bonus to add to a sacred weapon.
Horrifically Overpowered Spontaneous Casting (Horrifically Overpowered): For each level of cleric spell you can cast, you may select one cleric spell you can spontaneously cast, the same way you spontaneously cast either cure or harm spells.
Truly Amazingly Horrifically Overpowered Fervor (Horrifically Overpowered And Then Some): You gain additional uses of fervor equal to half your warpriest level + your Strength bonus (if any). When using fervor to heal or harm, the dice are calculated as your warpriest level -1. Once per round you can use fervor to cast a spell as a free action rather than a swift action. When you use fervor to cast a spell as a swift or free action, if it could normally target or affect an adjacent creature, you can affect an adjacent creature as a touch attack. When you use fervor to cast spells, those spells do not provoke attacks of opportunity.
Horrifically Overpowered Bonus Feat (Horrifically Overpowered): When selecting combat feats with this horrifically overpowered class feature, the only prerequisites you need to meet are fighter level and base attack bonus.
Horrifically Overpowered Channel Energy (Horrifically Overpowered): You can channel energy as a swift action.
Horrifically Overpowered Sacred Weapon (Horrifically Overpowered): Bonuses and magic weapon qualities you grant to a weapon using sacred weapon last for 10 times as long as normal. Bane is added to the list of weapon special abilities you can use a bonus to add to a sacred weapon.
Horrifically Overpowered Aspect of War (Horrifically Overpowered): You can use this ability an additional number of times per day equal to your Strength or Wisdom bonus, whichever is greater.
