Uncorpse Classification Updates (Patreon)

Ghoulhunters should be wary of the dangerous uncorpse subtypes beyond the common, baseline Romero. In general, review the info in Chapter 4 of the Uncorpse Sanitation Guide. However, three new types have recently been identified: the Hazmask, Lecter, and Tarsack.

Hazmasks have the remains of hazardous material/containment suits, though their flesh may swell, pustulate, or callousify to subsume the suit, but never goggles or faceshields. Hazmasks are generally retired ghoulhunters, and generally display superior strength and resilience.

Lecters are ghouls that are fitted with a biteguard mask. While this might seem to indicate a reduced threat, it means Lecters can function without engaging in the pathological flesh consumption common to the uncorpsed. This is often a sign of higher reasoning and planning.

Tarsacks' only outward sign of nonstandard feature is crusty or sticky black residue around the nose, mouth, or any wounds into the respiratory system. Tarsacks contain mobile, malevolent, sapient lung cancer growths that seek to infect others. They're also highly flammable.

At this time the bounty on these new uncorpsed types has not been elevated above baseline, but numerous research teams are offering bonuses for fully secured uncorpsed matching these descriptions that are animate and 80% or more intact.
