I have all the drafts I'd need for Gammafinders, my Starfinder 1e-compaitble post-apocalypse game.

If I did it as just a campaign setting with only the new stuff, I could potentially have it out within 30 days.

If I did it as a stand-alone RPG, it'd be MUCH longer, but then I could fine tune Starfinder-rules to be perfect for GF, and potentially tighten up some creaky Starfinder rules. At that point, it'd almost have to be a crowdfunded game, though.

For those of you interested in such a thing, any preferences?

My preference would be as a new rpg, but I appreciate that is asking for an insane amount of work. That being said, I've recently backed many crowdfunded RPGs including the recent Hellfinder release. I'd be happy to support a Gammafinder release if you go that route.

Like the vibe of the cover. I wouldn’t use it as 1e game (too complex for me prefer more rules lite rule settings) but I would raid a setting for ideas. So I’d prefer something that focuses on ideas over rules. (I’m probably not the target audience so feel free to ignore me :) )

I think releasing it as a setting first and a full conversion would be the way I’d do it. I love that art piece. It’s definitely post-apocalyptic but I’m not sure it sells the gonzo vibes of Gamma World. Just my two copper of opinion

Either route is good with me. I would back it if you go crowd funded. Otherwise sooner is also good.

I will buy this either way-- as a priority purchase-- but I have some preference for a standalone (and tailored) game with conversion guides than as a supplement with optional rules variants, and I would prefer to wait longer and pay more for that version. I would be keenly interested in (and even pay separately for) PF1 and PF2/SF2 conversion guides.
