In the 1990s I had a very-long-running D&D campaign where the people of one region (including the nations of Torlund and Northlund) famously drank Spiced Fermented Goat's Milk. Any character not of the region who tried it had to make a saving throw (vs poison, IIRC) or be unable to drink it without getting ill.

Late in the life of that campaign, we had a weekend-long game session that included a feast of foods and drinks I'd mentioned over years of play. Red potato soup. Halfling breakfast bread (stuffed with egg and sausage). Chicken chilada (basically burritos)...

And Spiced Fermented Goat's Milk.

Obviously lacking actual spiced fermented goat's milk, I had to simulate it. And it had to be awful... but not actually poisonous.

Most of the men at that party tried it. One puked. None of the women there tried it.

A friend just suggested I post the recipe to see if anyone would give it a try.

I do NOT recommend anyone, at all, even making this, much less drink it.

Faux Spiced Fermented Goat's Milk

4 parts buttermilk

4 parts diet Sprite (from a fresh bottle)

2 parts Italian salad dressing

1 part blue cheese salad dressing

Lightly stir. For full effect, drink immediately.*

*Don't drink this.

Buttermilk. Not a good start. Equal parts Sprite. I'm going to throw up just reading this. AND IT GETS WORSE?!

It is perhaps worth noting that a more palatable option would be something like goat kefir. I've not tried it myself though so ymmv. Of course, this was clearly not meant to be palatable so I'll agree with the "don't drink this."
