v14.1.2 & v24.1.2 - bug fixes (Patreon)

As many people starting to use the new stable releases, some bugs were bound to show up that I hadn't caught. This I fully expected. What I didn't expect, is that one of those bugs was the Fighter class being unselectable in v14.1.0. Rather essential for everyone, me included, who likes the simple human fighter characters.

Besides fixing this glaring mistake, I have also taken the time to give the 5e content a bit more needed attention as I can imagine it was feeling neglected with me only having eyes for its younger sibling (5.5e) lately.

The v14/v24 Printer Friendly sheets introduced formatting characters and they use a 15% bigger text for class feature names and the text in the square brackets after the name. As a result of this change, some first lines of class features no longer fitted on a single line. This has now been addressed. I have gone and tested all the class features and their choices, extrachoices, variants, and optionals to make sure that all 1454 of them do not have a first line that overflows on the Printer Friendly sheets. Luckily, I only had to tweak around 100 of them.

In other news, the Community Add-On Script Index has been updated with links to the transcribed 5.5e (2024) content, including new packages for downloading everything in a single file. Work is still ongoing on this, so you will notice it being rather incomplete.

Together with some other bugfixes, this makes it (already) time for a new version of the sheet.

The 5.5e (2024) content is limited to the main three core rulebooks, the Player's Handbook (2024), the Dungeon Master's Guide (2024), and the Monster Manual (2025). Patreon subscribers can expect a poll in the coming days to decide what should be added next.

Changes in 5.5e (2024) sheet

Fixed companions Find Familiar and Chain of the Pact not having correct/fitting Notes on the Companion page (thanks Smashman for reporting).

Fixed prerequisite level of the Lifedrinker Eldritch Invocations (thanks PhanZero for reporting).

Changes in 5e (2014) sheet

Fixed the Fighter class not being selectable (thanks peel for reporting).

Made sure all 1454 class features' first lines fit on a single line in the Printer Friendly sheet.

Changes in both 5e (2014) and 5.5e (2024) sheets

Fixed staff and potion magic items with choices not getting the default properties set correctly (thanks Reading Toskr for reporting).

Fixed the Source Selection dialog not being applied the first time it is opened, making the options in the drop-down boxes out of sync with the selected sources (thanks Bananas for reporting).

Changed how importing from another sheet affects add-on scripts. Now it will strictly filter add-on scripts not made for the version of the sheet being imported into.

Improved recognition of all_WotC_* add-on scripts so no overlapping content is brought along when importing from a sheet make for another edition.

Fixed importing from another character sheet not hiding pages that were hidden in the character sheet importing from.

Fixed importing ability score dialog values from older sheet versions (before v14.0.11-beta or v24.0.11-beta).
