I haven't posted anything in a while as I'm busy working on the next beta for the sheet. While that is chugging along, I figured it is time to post a quick update.

I'm happy to see that beta13 has minimal bug reports. This means there is finally a stable version with all the big underlying changes that I have been making. Because of the limited bugs, I have been able to focus on getting all the magic items transcribed for use with the sheet. But oh boy are there many of them. I'm grateful for all the help I have received from the community, but unfortunately it didn't take much of the workload for me (but I'm to blame, being a perfectionist and all).
The end is finally in sight, as I am almost done with all the items found in the SRD.

For those of you who like to follow the progress, you can do so in this Google Sheet.

You might notice that all artifacts and intelligent items are being skipped. This is done because those items are each an insane amount of work and they will be used very sparingly in most campaigns, if ever. I rather have a working v13 with most of the magic items finished, than waiting on these couple of complex ones.

Once the counter for the SRD magic items reaches a 100%, I will be releasing v13.0.0beta14. If beta14 doesn't have any major bugs, you can expect the full v13.0.0 to follow shortly.

For all my bitching, I do appreciate the work you and others are putting into this character tool. Will Mithril and/or Adamantine armor by added as a magical item or standard armor in the equipment list.

It seems that I just noticed in all the PDFs, when picking an option in the background menu, race menu on occasion, feats in the feats field, or even magic items and weapons (might be all drop-down fields), when typing in the name of the thing (case sensitive else that won't work), that once you click the option, the sheet will populate the option directly underneath the one you want and select. Only scrolling from the top of the dropdown manually and then clicking your option will make sure the proper thing is entered into the corresponding field. Thanks in advance for checking this out?

This particular issue is an Adobe bug. Multiple bug reports have been made to Adobe and they have not commented on it.

How about Javelin of Lightning or Bracer of Flying Daggers? Most especially Bracer of Flying Daggers. Have they been added or are going to be?

If the items you are asking about are listed there, then the community has invested in making them. I can't guarantee they will be made, as I'm only allowed to create the SRD content because of copyright reasons. If you want to be sure the magic items will be available and as soon as you want to use them, you can always make the code for them yourself. Do you think it would be possible to add an option in the full v13 release to add more Overflow pages like with the notes or companion pages? Especially in later games sometimes you have lots of items you don't want to give up, but the space becomes limited after a while

I have added this to the wishlist, but it is definitely not something I will be making for v13. Doing so would require me to re-write all functions that reference magic items, languages, tools, and limited features. Not an easy thing and it would probably take my several days of doing nothing else.

I know this couldn't get added in until later, however as a DM I've been looking for a way for Passive Investigation be listed in the same area as Passive Perception. Is that something you could look into? I've never needed to have a 2nd Ability Save DC, but a Passive Investigation helps a lot.

I love your work btw, but, it's really necessary to put all the magic items on the script? As a DM almost the 90% of the magic items my players have are my own invention, so, this kind of features, I think it shouldn't be a priority for the next version release, I mean, it's an amazing work and I really appreciate your effort and the effort of the people who is helping you to get through it, but I think that, the magic items section it's a never ending work that it's not going to be fully used.

Passive Investigation is not something that will be added in v13, as it requires me to move a lot of things around. It is on the wishlist and will be put up for a vote once v13 is done :)

I understand you are not interested in having support for magic items in the sheet, but I put this up for a vote and the majority chose for it. While you would rather see me invest energy in something else, other people are sending me messages complaining about some magic items missing from the latest beta. Unfortunately, I can't keep everybody happy. Good news is that the magic items section is not a never ending work and that the end is in sight. The most work was implementing the functionality. I have now finished all the SRD items, so beta14 is coming shortly (hopefully on Monday).

That is indeed still the plan. Once everything about v13 is finished, I'll start working on implementing the AL rewards changes.

Hi guys! How do we utilize the magic items from the Google Sheet? Are they already integrated into the new 13.0.0beta14 sheet.... or do we have to add them in somehow? Please advise. Thanks everyone :) <3

All magic items that were finished at the time of compiling beta14 can be found in it. Anything that was finished after will be included in the next beta. The Google Sheet is continually updated, but the beta is just a snapshot. All the items listed in the magic item drop-down are in it, and everything that isn't listed is not.
