Since the link and key may change frequently, always verify that you have the latest ones.
There’s an old soviet saying. Trust but verify.
I want you to be safe from piracy, but if you give a 🗝️ to all of us, you are giving it to also one of us who’s leaking.
As I mentioned before, this is the best countermeasure I can take at present. I’ve already reported the pirates to support, and I’m still figuring out what else I can do.
Wish I could help.
While I do understand why you do this, I fear it might not work. Over the years I’ve seen people subscribe to Patreon artists with the sole intent of leaking everything they get their hands on. It’s been like that pretty much since the internet took of, unfortunately :(
Things like the pixel-changes @Angel suggested or steganography can only help after the leak is already done and need to be technologically sophisticated enough so they aren’t easily detected and countered.
I’m a pirate rabbit! 🐰 Yarr!!
💀 Ha ha haa!
Another option is temporary Dropbox links. Won’t stop it completely, but it certainly mitigates it.
Hmm yes…but I suppose it’s better than doing nothing, so I’ll give it a try
