Entropy – The Struggle Of Fate V0.1 – Tipsy (5$) tier [English/ 简体中文/日本語] (Patreon)

This release scares me quite a lot, for 2 completely different reasons.

The first reason is the story as a whole. The truth is that at first I didn't plan on developing it. I had started writing it right after completing the writing of Aya Edition. I wrote the prologue to its entirety and then gave up on the project. I realized that I had needed an outlet to write something that's not NTR or porn. and this was it. I didn't believe I had the skill to turn this story into a full-fledged NTR game.

So for like six months I forgot about it. I worked on His Bet, Her Loss instead. But then when I completed the writing of HBHL, and while talking to people on Discord and listening to the music pieces I had already paid for the fantasy project, I decided I would give it another chance. I told myself I would write the story as a side project, and at least complete the Prologue and see where it leads us. I was hoping I could write something that satisfied me from the NTR side.

I won't lie, I still haven't written something I feel satisfied with. Then again, that's not new with me. So yeah… we'll see how it goes. Just keep in mind the first 60k words has been written a while ago and is not porn. What I call the "prologue". The other part of the game after that will be NTR as you would expect. I hope you can be patient with me on this. If worse comes to worst, we can stop at the prologue and work on something else.

The second reason I'm scared is because of the engine. This will be the first public release of a game built with the Godot plugin I've been working on since June. We made a few tests, but nothing that would prepare me with hundreds of people downloading the thing. Renpy, as you guys know with my games, is having a hard time with my live2d characters and scenes. I tried my best to optimize it, but it's just not working. So instead I decided to move to another engine and create a plugin catered to my need. I can't say anything about performance, you guys will have to tell me. The quality, I think personally is a lot higher. At least, I hope it is. I hope it was worth it. It was a lot of work. But please, please, please… tell me if there's any issue. I hope it isn't the case, I'll be on my computer all day, so I'll try to be ready for any eventualities. It's quite scary.

Anyway, with all of this out of the way, the content:

After a failed attack on the Frainnan village, Varnel is promptly captured by the enemy chief. Understanding his role in the ceremony, he makes peace with his fate, only for the chief to spare his life and keep him as a prisoner. For a reason or another, the Frainnan tries to assimilate him in their way of life.

Please give me feedback. We start a new project, but it doesn’t really feel like it. I just hope I didn't make the wrong decision.
