are we watching the rugby world cup this year? if so, who are we rooting for? any favourite underdog teams? ofc I'm supporting Ireland but we aren't likely to dethrone the Roses in a final so I'm rooting for the Ferns or Canada to take it home. if we make the semi finals and get knocked out in a war of a match I'll be really happy

Pudlord Tynan

What's a word that was used by a cohost or guest that you didn't know and later learned the definition of?

Alex Anderson

Q: Do any of you feel pressured to indulge the parasocial inclinations of viewers / fans for the sake of your career or simple politeness? What concerns do you have about parasociality in your fanbase in general?

Riri

As someone who is currently high, I'm wondering what activities does Devon enjoy while similarly impaired?

The Butterfly Composer

Sorry if you've answer this before but what does you think of Kingsman, both the Comic and the film series? If you have answered this, backup question: why are spy stories inherently right wing and do you know and recommend any proper left wing critiques of the genre that are also good spy thrillers?

Henry Bushell

Are there any recent cinematic releases that you've had a strong reaction to (positive or negative)?

Ryan Wexler

While KJB is strictly a movie only podcast, are there any TV shows you wish you could cover?

ready to be an outlaw

Q: is there any bonus episodes you wish you'd have SCUMed for the sake of comparison or would go back now and scum?

Bryant Mitchell

What is one of your favorite bits that has started as a result of doing KJB?

rolo

MagneticRose

Supporter of Beavers

I am once again asking you all to name your favourite dinosaurs (pterosaurs or plesiosaurs are acceptable too)

Roggepan

Any suggestions for legal ways to practice civil disobedience?

Wojtek Wojt

Sometimes you make references to TTRPGS, and I am curious if you could share your TTRPG experiences (DM-ing, characters, systems) Love from Poland!

Roggepan

If you could summon a ghost to be a guest on this podcast, who would you summon and what would you watch?

River Gilles Cooke

Given your thoughts on how The Italian Job offers commentary on England and its self-image, if it were to be remade and its plot reshaped to reflect contemporary Englishness, what should be the crux of the story and who should be cast?

Fondue

Do you agree that pirates count under the category of heists and therefore that muppets treasure island is a legitimate heist film?

Cat Ball

If you three were to make a zero-budget remake of a film together, what film would to remake? You can have unlimited creative liberties in the process, but no budget

miniplane

Best/sexiest/favorite bladed weapon?

Cass

This might be niche- do you have any advice for trans people who don't know many other trans people and struggle to make friends online? Alt version: advice for rural trans woman moving to a city (even more niche sorry)

Fred Carson

Tom Walker has said that he would look great “flanged up” like an orangutan. What sort of animal features do you think would look good on you?

the illnesses are chronic but the tits are iconic

As someone currently making their way through the entire KJB backlog from the beginning (for reasons of autism), thank you all for filling many hours of a boring commute with your combined witticisms and analysis. Anyone had any fun and/or interesting media binges lately?

HappeningNowLeaveToday

If you could play any character in a period piece on any historical time period, which period and character would it be?

Kat C.

Imagine a film studio gives you an unlimited budget to make a heist movie, but sadly you're secretly affiliated with an evil organisation that only allows you to make terrible movies. However, the film studio can't discover that the movie you're making is objectively bad and should be convinced that this is Academy Award winning material. What artistic choices do you make to trick the film studio into letting you make this terrible movie and convince them it's actually good?

Platinum Quill

If you could aquire any piece of kit from any movie you've seen so far what would you pick and how would it further KJB's quest for world domination? <3

TheHorrorThonk

What are Abi and Devon's mayor pics for a no gods no mayors feature

Hedrigal

Why are you guys some of the first people to discover Zardoz was a masterpiece and possibly one of the best movies ever made?

Archie

If you could remake Being John Malcovich but with another actor, who would you pick?

Rosemary Selth

I am once again asking for your favourite species of extinct megafauna.

Archie

Would you rather be able to fly or be able to turn invisible?

Darkeva

Congratulations, the human race is about to end. If you had to pick a peice of media to best represent humanity in memoriam, what would you pick and why?

Donald Carrick

You are in charge of a new James Bond spin-off. This will be a lazy re-telling of one of the films from the perspective of the (now sympathetic) villain a la Maleficent, Cruella, etc. Which villain do you pick and why?

Charlie Lightning

Who in Religious season deserves sainthood and who deserves to be sent to hell?

Socarch

Even though it is on the short side, would y'all watch the DS9 episode Badda-Bing Badda-Bang? It stands alone in the series and it is a fun deconstruction of heist movies.

Clef (they-them)

What are some of your niche interests and hobbies that you haven't had a chance to mention on this pod yet? Loved getting scuba knowledge dropped thanks to Frank Transporter!

Socarch

If you could give a bond actor one more bond movie, who would you choose? (I would go with Dalton myself)

Matilda Roffey

I recently had a kidney transplant and spent a lot of time of my head on painkillers, so what do you think would be the best drug and film pairing? If you’re wondering the drugs I was given were fentanyl, morphine, tramadol and codeine but not all at once! And the best drug/KJB ep was OHMSS no notes on tramadol

Valerie Gomez

Have any of you read the book series the locked tomb/ the book Gideon the ninth. The series plays with alot of the themes that you have been exploring in religion season.

Morgan LeFay Dethen

If you could go back and SCUM score a bonus episode which do you think would get the lowest score, the highest, and create the most interesting conversation?

George Barker

Will the success of Religion Season spin off into its own podcast, Kill God?

David Alexander

If you could get approval and funding for a scientific study in any field, what would you investigate?

CV-1

"Eventually every film", I know, but are there any movies you're holding back on waiting for the right guest, mood, political development, etc and what might they be?

Skeleton Key

What is your favorite film score or scores? Thank you have a nice day

Candi Fox

What films that you have seen contain the most wholesome depiction of a polyamorous relationship?

Billie Ash

Do you have plans for upcoming live shows? I only ask because I've recently started feeling confident in myself and would love to dress cunty in a room full of beautiful trans women

Alex Scranton

What "seasons" do you guys want to do in the future? Which do you think has the potential for the highest average SCUM score, and do you think that we can take these averages and make a definitive statement on what genre of film is the worst? I think the "buddy cop" genre would get torn to shreds based on the Rush Hour movies alone

Mickey Foster

Have you read any hood books this year? Which book(s) have been your favourite?

Freya Knight

This is an open question for the KJB team: if you could take one narrative from one film you've reviewed since the podcast began and change it up, what would it be, and how would you change it?

just some jal

Whats everybody's favorite breakfast meal?

Sándor Baja

Siegfried Kracauer's book "From Caligari to Hitler" suggests that German expressionist films of 1920's predicted the rise of fascism. What do you consider movies that are precursor of the current era of hell going on in America, UK or basically everywhere?

IcarusTyler

Which movies are definitely NOT on the list? Things that would potentially fit, but you have ruled out, and for what reason?

IcarusTyler

I loved your short discussion on Blindsight. What are the chances of getting a special, one-off book discussion? I understand an ongoing book-discussion would be a more difficult enterprise of course, but with Blindsight especially there is a ton to discuss and sustain an episode.

IcarusTyler

I have developed the Robbery-Heist-Caper Spectrum, where every film about thievery can be roughly assigned to be a robbery, heist and/or caper. How does this track with your heist experiences? https://bsky.app/profile/matthiascode.bsky.social/post/3lvv4536clk2v To me a Robbery always involves violence or the threat of violence, and has a mildly specialized crew, with light roles like “Driver” or “lookout” (shockingly Heat is more robbery than heist). A Heist involves preferably no violence, it not necessary for the gentleman thief. A heist also requires are more specialized crew with roles like “pickpocket” or “con man”. The caper is the ultimate theft-genre - as there is no violence, a highly specialized crew, but also the thing that is stolen is not necessary hard currency, but rather involves trickery and subterfuge.

IcarusTyler

What is the etiquette when talking to a celebrity like yourself in a friendly, non-work scenario? I assume lot of people would go “I love your work in Film X”, which I assume people are sick of, which is why I do not want to open with that. But also I do not want to hide I am aware of their work, as that would be dishonest.

IcarusTyler

You have been threatening to talk about Layer Cake since something like Episode 5. When will it be finally time, and our time of suffering in anticipation be finally over?

Panboolean

I'm pretty sure part of be reason it came up is bc Nova already did an episode of Left on Read (Trashfuture Patreon feed) on Blindsight. I'm not sure they'd want to rehash what one of them already made elsewhere.

IcarusTyler

Oh neat, I didn't know there was already a related podcast about this! I need to check that episode out then :)

IcarusTyler

Can you bring back GIRTH? I feel it could work well in addition to SCUM, and offers a good analysis of "respecting'-the-troops" movies

Jeff

Which Tarantino films are properly part of Crime season and which would better belong in Western season or Revenge season? (Honestly surprised Resevoir Dogs wasn't hit very early just to calibrate the high end of SCUM for crimes...)

TheDollHouse

Despite religion season being somewhat unintentional initially, after you've finished off religion season, are there any other unofficial mini seasons you'd like to explore?

BanditCrab

What is the best cheese?

Gina Service

Do any of you have that thing (presumably ADHD-related) where you want to watch a film, and also there are films you want to watch, but for whatever reason you don't want to commit yourself to watching something new, and so you end up putting on something you've seen before countless times? If so, how do you overcome it?

khaliqtessi

What's the patron goal that must be reached to get the KJB gang to have a season where you go through the Daily Wire film catalogue?

Remi

We've heard about your ideal roles on a heist crew, wht about your ideal roles on a film set?

iaguz

Well, I tried this question last time and got nothing but hell, why not try again. To dev. As a (presumably former) Dota 2 playing degenerate, who are/were your guys?

IcarusTyler

I nominate Killing Zoe as being Tarantino-related and primarily about robbery

Lucie Rose

If you could replace the cast of any heist movie with Muppets, which would you pick, and which human actor would you keep?

Luka

Favorite Star Trek series?

Kyle Cook

Dev and November: Any good creators you'd recommend if someone had a budding interest in cameras? (Sorry Abigail)

Topper

What band would you want to see make a movie AND the soundtrack for it, and what kinda characters would they play? Also, are bonus episodes no longer being released on the RSS feed? I need to manually listen to them on Patreon now.

A Dispirited Observer

The Great Devil (LoSS AngeleSS) finally does everyone a favour and sinks into the sea where it belongs. How are y'all celebrating the good news?

Lochlann

This is going to sound insane, but I have a really clear memory of a scene I thought was in a James Bond film but hasn't been mentioned in any episode: our cocksure hero is in the villain's lair to collect his payment/reward, having successfully done a thing (?). 80s vibes. The villain goes, yeah sure buddy your cash is in there, pointing to a little alcove. Hero guy steps in, looks around theatrically for the money. It isn't there. Then, a single coin (a US quarter? Something silver) falls from the ceiling. Then another. A glass door slams shut, locking him in the alcove, as more coins rain down. The villain's evil ploy to smother the hero in money is revealed and he collapses under their weight. Dramatic music. Someone (a woman?) breaks the glass to save him and he gushes out of the alcove on a wave of coins. That's it, that's all I remember. I could have sworn it was from a James Bond I watched with my dad, but am I hallucinating? Did I dreamt it?! Or is it from a movie, and if so which one?

James Rule

I know it's time consuming and not the mandate of the show, but would you ever consider doing an episode on a TV show? Even just a two part episode as equivalent to a TV movie? I would love to hear you all talk about the episodes Variation on a Million Bucks part one and two from Man In A Suitcase.

IcarusTyler

This is very reminiscing of of a James Bond Villain's Gas Elevator

GJH

Which film do you regret watching the most?

Christopher Ingamells

What song do you think you be great in a movie soundtrack, but currently isn't?

Christopher Ingamells

Pretty sure this is in one of the Alex rider/ young bond books? Can't quite remember though

Tall Jeff

how can we do the plot of the Parent Trap to get the Coens back together anyone got anything?

Cassandra foretells the doom of Troy, NY

My mom is a genuinely cool person. So last year I recommended she read Torrey Peter's Detransition, Baby. She loved it and got her whole book group to read it and now they're all reading Stag Dance. Which is great, but now the family friend who made me soup when I had chicken pox knows and has correctly used the term "chaser". So my question is: When do you decided the cis people in your life know too much? Alternatively should I double down and convince them to read Dorley Hall?

Mistress Angela Aelis

If you could have any animal companion that reflects your inner self (ala Dæmon's from the "His Dark Materials" books by Philip Pullman) what would you pick, and why?

Eric Thurm

I think a lot about the accidental diptych of the I Saw The TV Glow / The People's Joker episodes - what are some other recommended thematic pairings of movies you all have covered? (Or ones you haven't!)

Alice

It's 5 in the afternoon, and you're free for the evening. The person you love most in the world has been away for a while and will be with you in a few hours. What're you baking/cooking to have ready for them when they arrive?

ComicTF

Have you considered any children's film / coming-of-age films to look at how adulthood and gender roles are presented to children?

Léandre

If you were in Star Trek on the Enterprise, what would your job be /what color shirt would you wear? (Any one of the shows)

A Dispirited Observer

how many of my organs would I have to sell to convince you to end religion season with Frederico Fellini's "Satyrcon", the arguably the gayest movie italy ever made?

Jack Fennell

You can unleash Dracula's Brides from "Van Helsing" into any of the other films you've covered; which one do you pick?

Lay-Tex-Lips

Abi specific question: did you ever end up trying that beef broth based cocktail from Some Girls Do, and how was it if you did?

Man2quilla

Um, uhhh... how are you today?

Buick

does Rambo count as the prologue to War Season?

Kirby Fu

yeah this is alex rider uhhhhh the fourth book I think, except it's not the hero it's a henchman guy and he just dies. the only thing I can think of for the glass-breaking-gushing-out is, the second night at the museum movie where the gay cowboy is trapped in the hourglass and his roman boyfriend breaks the glass to save him?

Lochlann

Holy shit is this a BOOK and I've just transmuted it into a film in my mind?!

Brian Taulbee

What movie do you dread reviewing, but feel like you have to? Also, remiss if I don’t recommend “How to Steal a Million” for Heist season. I think you’ll enjoy it.

Ollie Alexander

Hot take: Inception is a hiest movie and you should do it for the Elliott Page of it all. Speaking of whom, do you think you'll add more movies about being trans, specifically more movies about the transmasculine experience?

Queerceleste

Do you feel there has been any change in your movie taste in the past year do to the podcast? If so what?

Elliot Diamond-Hitchcock

Is there any kind of movie that you feel like you can't Get? I cannot enjoy music, I don't Get it, so a lot of movies about music pass me by. Do any of you have an equivalent?

Enemy of the Show

At the drop of a hat, KJB is ready to rock and roll, whats the hiest loadout? for both stylish infiltration and strong, through the front door ?

Mel

What's the worst video game you've enjoyed?

Bones

No Gods No Movies

Bones

SCUMming Our Man Bashir

Bones

Would you ever consider doing something really old like a James Cagney or Humphrey Bogart movie? Classico season? Or does the KJB time horizon only extend back to about 1960?

Danielle Williams

Just been listening to the no notes eps again. In the same way they all begin to blend together, will you do Jason Bourne no notes? Would be very hard to differentiate

Bones

Nate in the gold slaving away with O'Brian, Dev on security with Worf, Abi in the red on command track giving Riker a run for his money, Nova in blue for some damn reason but commanding the ship anyway

Tariq Moustapha

Question for Abi - What sort of role do you want to add to the Abigail Thorn Cinematic Universe? I know you're enjoying the Unnamed Trans Action Project, so more in that vein? More comedy? More drama? Rambo the Musical?

Ben

What is KJB? Feel free to choose a reference frame: sociological, political economy, ontological, etc.

Wessedup

Is there a reason drops aren't used that much anymore these days? I feel like it went down around the start of eurospy season, is it just that those movies and those of the current season aren't that Droppable™?

Hoob

Fuck Marry Kill: The three concepts of fucking, marrying and killing

TK

You have died. Sorry. If it is any consolation you never even saw the bus coming. In order to get into Heaven you have to take up a consulting role with Satan to fix Hell because he's sick of people moaning and saying "yes daddy, harder" every time he whips them. What new and unique ways would you torture the souls of the damned, specifically Henry Kissinger and Hulk Hogan?

Cyrus McEnnis

What are some iconic heist movies that you're looking forward to watching?

Tori

Hello! My question is specifically for Abby. I recently got cast in my first play, and a musical to boot, and I was wondering if you have any advice for someone starting out in theater, and doing theater as a trans woman as well. For all 3 because I feel bad asking a question only for one of the hosts, what podcasts outside of the Nate extended universe do you listen to? Thank you all so much for what you do, listening to you all makes my boring day job a lot more bearable.

Cyrus McEnnis

Are there any fits you've tried out and just immediately gone "No!" about & refused to unleash on an unsuspecting world?

Robyn Veitch

For Devon: does the Jazz music loop? And if not what is the plan for when the number of patrons / announcements exceeds its length?

IcarusTyler

What is the most non-standard ice-cream you have had? The more fucked up the better. Like carrot. Oak. Gorgozola. Vegan Bacon. Cucumber. How far did you go?

Robyn Veitch

As I gather some people decided to believe that you worked for the intelligence services due to your anti-bond action. What other field, industry, or area of society would it be funny if people imagined you were trying to do sneaky propaganda for?

Robyn Veitch

How's the work on the Evil Lair going? Havnt had an update on that in a while I feel

Robyn Veitch

For Abigail, you have made many references to star trek in some episodes, causing me to excitedly point at the screen like that Leonardo Decaprio screenshot. Are you a big trecky (or however that's spelled)? Pt2 And if so, what are the barriers to getting more Star Trek into KJB

Robyn Veitch

Were familiar with the "movie X but as muppets and one human actor" joke but id like to propose: what would be the funniest bond (or other) movie to be done in the style of a Shaun The Sheep movie? That is, clay Ardman style animation, and no actual speaking roles, just characters gesturing and making noises to communicate with each other and the audience

Joysweeper

If you were forced - forced!!! - to rewatch any movie you've seen for this podcast and then record a new episode about it, what would you pick? Something with more to discuss, something fun, something that you can just say "It was X again, now for an hour of talking about that fucker who forced us to do this"?

Mary Kathlene Barton

You guys do a lot of work on a lot of projects. I am worried that you’re not getting enough rest and are working too hard. Not to get too parasocial, but are you getting enough rest? Eating enough? Did you bring a sweater (jumper)?

Joysweeper

What's a piece of Dream Furniture it would be great to have, and why don't you have it? (ex: it would be really expensive, not enough space, you already have a perfectly okay conversation pit)

Cyrus McEnnis

If you were forced at the point of a Gun That Kills You Instantly, what music videos would you like to appy the patented SCUM system to? This question brought to you by the disinterested look on the persons face being crucified in the "Hot In The City" Billy Idol video.

Gwendingus

How do yall organize thoughts on a movie you have complex feelings about? Do you break it down into component ideas (acting, story, themes) or largely focus on what sticks out to you the most?

Ctolm [the t is silent]

Which movie covered so far in Heist Season would be best suited to the Muppet Treatment and why is the answer Heat?

Michael Alan Dorman

Cucumber ice cream is magnificent, per Il Laboratorio del Gelato in NYC.

the raddish

Since you've done the Austin Powers films, are there any *other* movies you feel obliged to cover but really, really don't want to? (Besides the Love Guru)

zahracusdottir

Alright it's time for your yearly sword chimp fight. How are you doing compared to last year?

Evie K

Aliens have invaded Earth, and they're massive film buffs. Due to your long-standing conections within the global intelligence comunity, as well as being the modern day Siskel and Ebert, governments the world over turn to KJB for help in this dark hour. What film are you recommending be shown to our alien overlords to convince them that humanity, and our cinema, are worth preserving, and not turning us into a writhing pile of barely sentient biomass. Otherwise known as Keir Starmering us.

Echo

When making a theme song for a podcast, do you make sure it also sounds good at 1.25x, 1.5x, etc times speed?

Brian Danger Hicks

If you could replace the cast of any Muppets movie with humans (you can keep one muppet, of course), what movie would you pick and who would you cast?

Mariana Trench

The only way through is by applying the power of “ah, fuck it” and just doing it. Surprisingly useful 🤣

Scutter

When the topic of Vtubers has come up in the past, I feel like I've heard Devon bring up Inugami Korone more than once and with surprising speed - wanna speak to that brother??

Letpapersleep

question for everyone, what movie do you feel like either describes your vibe as a person, or you feel you could be dropped into as the lead

Gwen, Charm of the Ozarks (not that one)

To November: you’ve mentioned The Mountain Goats numerous times on the pod. How did you get into the band? What songs/album’s would you recommend to each your cohosts?

Sarah

Are there any plans for other 'seasons' within the bonus episodes? For each host, what bonus episode season would you like to do?

Johanna

Is Twister a heist movie?

Beach Boy Sammy

In New Zealand I'm like 80% sure somebody here has made huhu grub ice cream (huhus are already an edible delicacy, don't worry)

Beach Boy Sammy

Let Ethan and his lesbian wife have their fun! Drive-Away Dolls slaps, don't @ me

Ben Nancekivell

With the uniquely British enshittifacation of life you're experiencing. What has been your moment of joy in the past few months?

Dragonback Lancer

In the theoretical counterpart to Robbery Season, which would logically be Detective Season, what movie/film series would you pick to start off the season?

Dragonback Lancer

Just for posterity, my pick would be the Soviet Sherlock Holmes adaptations

Eskil Wendel

What's your relationship to Scandinavian cinema? Do you have a favourite?

Rowan

What is your favourite play/musical/piece of theatre?

Daisy

What do you envision as the spiritual *opposite* of the James Bond franchise?

ryan weingart

You now are in possession of the phone booth time machine from Bill and Ted. You have to do an episode of KJB with an historical figure. What historical figure and what movie do you choose?

Kieron Peddle

What is your favourite movie you've all seen for Kill James Bond?

Emry

Miracle of miracles, someone's found a way to faithfully adapt the Discworld novels to screen and our three hosts have all been cast in a role of their choice. Which character are you playing?

Emry

Or, alternatively: which Guy/Gal/Thyal You Love To See should be cast in which role?

IcarusTyler

What do you think of The Day of the Jackal? I just watched the 1970s french/british film, the US remake, and the british series. I like how the main character is Bi, and there are plot-critical gay relationships. I also like how the series is ultimately about how much the UK government sucks.

Sabrina

What's the best and worst bit of podcasting?

Groundhog … Trams guy, I guess

Love to see bi rep in films - especially when it strays from stereotypical tropes. What other bi/pan characters are your favourites in movies And does it matter if characters are actually identified as bi/pan or can behavioural representation be beneficial without labels?

Katana King

How can I get more homosocial with my boys without commiting crimes? We do poker night once a month and I carpool with my roommate / best friend. Is this enough?

Jack

The noble fight scene on a train: Which movie (Bond or beyond) has pulled it off best, and what is each host's favorite train-specific fight scene beat?

vennesa

Will you be looking into any folk or pagan religion movies in religion season?

Manuel Kiguel

I ask it every time but one day I hope to get an answer: Thoughts on The Kinks' 1970's hit "Lola"?

bookcasequeen

whenever the eventual movie gets subbed, would Kamen Rider Zeztz be considered for the KJB docket? It's literally about a super spy with the code number "7"

Alice

What do your note-taking processes look like? I want to start note-taking during my own movie viewings but I can never seem to condense my thoughts fast enough to avoid having to pause every few frames. How do you do it???

Mythopoeist

You are given the task of killing a sentient, malevolent chimpanzee (Cryptotheism's Bloodless Chimp Challenge) with a significant healing factor and the inability to feel pain. It also, as the name implies, doesn't need a circulatory system or oxygen. You have to do it discreetly, so no calling in an airstrike. What's your game plan?

Dr Kawashima's Clicker Training

The plan is to eventually cover every movie. If you were able to do so, which movie would you cover last? Would you save a good movie for last, or would you leave the worst movie for last?

Luke Tikellis

Fuck, marry & kill but $1 mi, $10 mil & $50 mil budgets for your own robbery, eurospy and religious movies.

Earl of Pudding

In the process of trying to make a man out of me my Father used to make me watch war films with him. They always bored the shit out of me but in some ways were fundamental in shaping my young minds idea of masculinity. Are there any war movies you plan to do in future or think had a disproportionate impact on modern masculinity?

Camoose the Uncrackable Egg

Probably to late, This question is for November. You've mentioned "The Day of the Jackal " a few times, and the remake, 'The Jackal' is one of my favorite movies. Seeing Bruce Willis play a gay man is interesting, but leads to what i feel is a truely terrifying scene. The idea that the stranger you brought home for casual sex is actually a homicidal murderer. That aside, It has a shocklingly young Jack Black in a rather unexpected role. Would you please consider covering both movies?

Tessa

If you could remake any movie covered on the podcast with the three of you in leading roles, what movie would you want and what roles would you pick. Bonus, if you had to remake a bond film which would be the least worst to do.

Colleen&Ruth

I know you’ve spoken about not doing The Lord of the Rings as episodes previously but we really love you discussing movies you enjoy. Would you ever consider it? Also: think about the costumes you could do for a live show!

Olimara

Which tiny car would you most like to commit a comedy heist in?

ProVVoke

Movies that you love, despite knowing they are bad. Mine is Michael Bay's Armageddon. It's got so much smarm, cultural insensitivity and misogyny, but I have a great time every time I see it.

IcarusTyler

And I'm back from listening to the 3 Firefall Episodes from Trash Future, they are great! :D

Mutual Aid Miniatures

Have you considered Battlefield Earth as the perfect bridge between heist & religion season? Produced by the church of scientology and involving a heist of fort Knox it also has John Travolta & Forrest Whittaker cosplaying members of Korn.

Buy your friends fancy cards for poker night. Theory11 makes really cool ones relevant to their hobbies and interests.

In the theme of some of the various spies' absolutely diabolical drink orders, what's the most cursed drink or dish you've ever had, or at least wanted to try?

Peter Paul Rubens' Muse

I hear the studio behind the Hitman series is working on the James Bond game they always wanted to make. When it releases, is there any chance November might finally twist Abi & Dev's arms into playing a video game for the podcast?

Ed

On a recent movie night with my partner we watched both Platoon and the Three Amigos (preeetty good) what’s the weirdest double bill you’ve watched for the pod?

Ed

Any plans to watch Hot Shots, potentially highest scum score that also fucks

Kill James Bond!

I remember this too in the exact same terms as you, as a vague disconnected scene i recall from a movie that was on while i was in the room once. No idea what it's from

Kill James Bond!

ET, Techies, Phoenix, Pudge. I played during the period where a roaming 4 was effective. Other than that, rubick and lion

Lochlann

I'm glad we collectively hallucinated this at least 🫡

Kill James Bond!

The Futurama episode where Fry downloads a Lucy Liu robot to date was surprisingly spot on about AI girlfriends

iaguz

Yeah I figured you'd be a support main. That's a solid selection of Guys (except techies, you monster)

Elisa Vilinskis

Since you've done some of the games, would you ever do anything exploring the James Bond novels (or any other novels)?

Robyn Veitch

Do we have an update on the chimp that attempts to combat you annually?

Robyn Veitch

Have you ever watched BattleBots and if so which bot is your favourite?

Robyn Veitch

The star trek fandom calls it the Borg Effect but it might have a more formal name. A seemingly insurmountable threat is beaten by slim margins and mostly due to a fluke, but then the writers can't help themselves and so keep bringing back the threat over and over again until it feels perfuntary. Are there any tropes or plot lines that you've encountered on KJB that feel like this

khaliqtessi

What kind of movie could you make if you were limited to all the drops you've pulled from all the films the podcast has covered?

BayneNothos

Was rewatching Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy recently and realised you'd never done it. Is it on the list?

Big Bird

If you could turn on movie you have watched into a stage musical, which one would you choose?

Jimjam

And if yes what is your fave Star Trek film (please let it be the journey home!!!)

Jimjam

I’m terrible of thinking up questions so: either 1) make up a question you want o answer or 2) dev please make up a question that would make your cohosts mildly squirm 😂

Luka

Do you have any plans to do bad kid’s movies again? I feel like we got some of the best bits from those!

Liv

What are your thoughts about the podcasting industry? How do you as a podcast differ from the rest of the market? What makes you special? Thanks guys!!!!!

Stephen Watson

Thought on Francois Truffaut's quote "There's no such thing as an anti-war movie." I would love to hear you talk about Kelly's Heroes, a 1970 WW2 heist movie with Donald sutherland and Clint Eastwood.

Frog Wizard

Are there any films/TV series based on books that you really love for what they've done with the original or absolutely loathe for how they've misinterpreted the original?

Parker

Any fun video games y'all are playing right now?

Naz

How are you feeling about the IOI interactive new james bond game?

IcarusTyler

Could you elaborate on the concept of omission? Where a situation should have people of color, or women, or lgbt people, or japanese, but only cishet white men exist. I heard it described here first. I love this concept, and have only recently begun to fully grok it. I haven‘t found yet a colloquial name of it, or a good write-up. My go-to example of this are Orson Scott Card’s Ender‘s Games Books - when learning that Card is a raging homophobe I checked the books again to see if they contain anti-lgbt messages I might havr missed. Turns out homophobic views are expressed by the utter abscene of lgbt-people - In fact the world is so conservative, sex only exists in monogamous, explicitly roman-catholic marriages. They do not even have pre-marital secual relationships in this universe, and everything even banal beyond that is ommitted.

So I got a new assistant grocery store manager and upon interaction #3 with her she asked if i’d read a specific chapter of The Supper of the Lamb, when i said no she lent me a copy, and it really ripped my dick clean off, and when i told her so she said keep the copy i’ve got lots. is this a cult thing or just her reading me well? i’m the store sommelier if that helps

Aleksa

Is Thunderbolt and Lightfoot (1974) on this season's list? Clint Eastwood and a shockingly young Jeff Bridges get very gay with it and do a heist. Also the director Michael Cimino (whose film after this was The Deer Hunter) seems to have at one point presented as a woman, but never came out in public life. Interested to see what you'd think of it.

Jennifer Houghton

What does "Dome" mean? I am a confused Gen X fan.

Big Bird

Bad news- you have offended a witch and been cursed. For the rest of your life you will speak with an accent from somewhere you have never lived- what accent are you choosing?

nope

Abi is caving the chimps head in with one blow if her social media are anything to go by

Laura

Can you do Spy Kids 4 again but with Dr. Ally Louks and with the scratch and sniff cards?

Noblese Oblahaj

Having read both Legacy of Ashes, the history of the CIA, and The Secret War by Max Hastings, I was wondering if y'all had any recommendations for spy-centered books- fiction or non-fiction. Bonus round: Given the state of the world, how do you destress and make that tight little ball like an invisible fist in your gut go away. Asking for a friend

Meryl is not a Vampire

Could you do the movie bullitt 1968 by Peter Yates if you haven't done it already it seems to be right up y'alls alleyway

Meryl is not a Vampire
