So... in case you missed it (click here if you did), the channel come dangerously on the brink of no content for a few weeks. My computer bit the dust and finally died but luckily, thanks in huge to you guys here on Patreon, the issue was resolved before it was even discovered! A fair chunk of the computer costs come from here, in months where I've not needed to buy games or costumes or anything of that nature for videos, it all just builds up and I payout the lot when I actually need it, like when I need a new computer so that videos don't stop. I know I've already said it but I'll say it here once again, I really can't thank all of you enough! Seriously, this could have been death for the channel in all honesty so I'm glad we dodged that, yet again!

So What's Next?) As I mentioned, plans have changed. The original plan had been set in stone since May-ish, to follow up Crash and Spyro with a new series, familiar to the channel but new to reviews, for a 3 part series. Four videos (2 reviews, an introduction for a discussion/review series and the first episode of that) to be released over 4 weeks. For reasons I mentioned within the update video, there really is no time for that anymore, waiting on games and not enough weeks for things to flow nicely. So instead, I'm going to pump out a Top 10 video for next week instead as (in all honesty) 75% of the time, they're a lot easier to write, shoot and edit. PLUS with no time to actually play anything, my multiple hard drives of archived gameplay footage means that I don't even have to play anything to cover this particular topic.

From here, I'll be trying for a review the following week, followed with a discussion video the week after that, before ending with a video suited for a certain date/time of year. Not only is it a passion project and something I've got a lot of ideas for, it's a topic/genre that is within the mainstream at certain times of the year, perfect to capitalize on to try and help growth of the channel (and it'll be fun, trust me on that! Even for non fans of the... theme).

The Benefits of a New Machine) Obviously things such as speed and power are already making things much more enjoyable from a production standpoint. I don't think I've ever tried to edit a video with such fast response time from any program on any system so I'm already loving that. But another great advantage (finally) is some upgraded quality! Live Streams of course, if you've seen them, you'll know I've got a terrible webcam. I've actually had a HD one for ages but it was SOOOOO "powerful" (I'm being sarcastic) That it would crash my old computer. Well that shouldn't be an issue now, along with being able to stream some more strenuous PC games down the line. I'm hoping for GTA V on PC but having not tested anything yet, we'll see what happens. I'll also be looking into a failed sponsorship opportunity I had earlier in the year, which if re-ignited would result in some higher quality gameplay across videos. Right now, I can't go any higher than 25fps (it does 30fps but I work consistently with the PAL format) so if I could get that up to 50fps, everything will be much smoother to watch!

So as I've repeated across the update video and here, we really will just see what happens. I'm sorry for the messy schedule this past week, I shot a gameplay video for later this week, unfortunately Early Access will NOT be available for that, for the sake of making sure I get this Top 10 done in time for Tuesday and Early Access where it counts. We'll get back on top of things don't worry. The final point I'd like to make that I purposefully avoided mentioning in the video: Since the previous update video thanks to e3, Crash and Spyro, the growth for the channel has been tremendous for the first time in ages. I'm doing everything I can to keep that going as strong as possible and to be perfectly honest, losing the original plan for August may actually benefit that even further all depending what I chose to fill the gap with. But that's everything, thanks so much for reading and again just for being awesome, I hope you all have a great fucking day. Cheers guys, mad love! :D

Seeing your up and running with a new PC makes the extra I put down over the last few months worth it, I'll have to hold back a bit while work/money picks up but glad to see you going full steam ahead again!

Cheers mate, every bit adds up. I'm still salty about having to get back to where I was at with the machine but once I'm there, things will be rolling smoothly. Hopefully gonna spend an entire day just re-installing games and organizing files. Not fucking keen on that!

Now you have a faster and more powerful PC to browse all the rule 34 Coco pictures! :P Joking aside, it sounds like this computer will make the editing videos a lot faster and allow for better streaming videos. It is boring installing all the programs from scratch, but once you have everything set-up, it will be your bandicoot. Think of the PC breaking down as a good sign! Glad the Patreon funds have helped in purchasing this PC. Keep up the good work Jak! Hopefully the schedule should get back to normal.

Haha yeah it's been awesome already. Edited a video today and it was so much smoother, I'm still in shock over it. Games are running amazingly too so yeah, certainly a positive in the end! :)

All I can say is your new PC will definitely have a great impact on editing your videos, playing games and doing livestreams now. Things should be much smoother for you from now on. :)

Yeah it's already been amazing, streams should be of a much higher quality from now on which I'm really stoked about! :)
