Ups and Downs (Blog) (Patreon)

How close was I to forgetting this job today? Well I got out of bed to write this ahaha. Honestly, it's been pretty frantic the past 6 weeks and it only seems to be heating up even further on my end. We're entering an important time for the channel.

Computer Troubles) The new computer all around has been really good, editing is so much smoother and enjoyable for me which is only going to make things easier. However, I discovered last night that some of my methods are now outdated thanks to this top end machine. Game capture for anything old is officially a pain in the ass until I find a solution, most likely some other fucking thing to buy to replace things... it's a fucking mess that I didn't need right now. We'll get there though, I was expecting this kind of rough transition. I haven't even taken the time to re-install and move over files onto the new machine, I've been really under the pump getting videos back to a controllable schedule.

Videos) I mentioned in recent updates a particular passion project of mine that was to be uploaded by a specific date, otherwise it's not even worth doing THIS YEAR! I've begun working on it as of Monday with the impression of having 2 weeks before shooting the video. Speaking with my channel manager about the date and reason for uploading on that date was bitter sweet; He was able to help me with some really important advice...

that advice being to upload the video 1 week EARLIER than planned! SO... fuck it, let's go to work. Costume Preparation started yesterday and is so far going to be down to the wire but I'll get it done in time, sure of it. There is more to the story of this video to come later down the line but I'm just simply focusing on giving it my all right now.

Currently though, I shot a discussion video for next week on the topic of music in video games. It was a bitch to shoot (for various issues) but I got it done and I'm happy with the content in this. It's something I've put a lot of thought into and I think people will enjoy it! Following this discussion and the subsequent passion project, the series you were supposed to have by now is also in a weird spot as I'm realizing, I may not be the biggest fan of the material, 2 weeks after writing and filming the video so... I really don't know what is going to happen there. If I ever get the fucking game I ordered 6 weeks ago, it should go off with no problems but until then, I'm gonna have a moan to the seller.

That covers it this week though guys, the nights are gonna get a little long for me over the next week preparing outfits, playing and writing for videos but safe to say, we're almost back on the normal routine after a week of messy shit. But until the next week and all it's messy shit, thank you so much for reading and I hope you have a great fucking day. Cheers!
