Hey, how is everyone lately? Seems people enjoyed the EyeToy Review so thanks for that, the followup is already finished waiting to go up for Early Access closer to release. And my second week of getting ahead is going... well it's going, we'll just leave it at that!

This Week) In the background of uploads, I've completed THREE of the FIVE games ready for the October Special. The problem with Number 4 is that I have to play 2 different versions of the same game so that's gonna be, pretty boring. Trust me on that! We'll get there though. I did hit a snag with this project though that I'm really lost on...

You guys know how I've been replicating logos for the intros?

Well I obviously want to go above and beyond that for this week-long spectacular and actually replicate full intros, over just the logos. Well I got the logo looking good, it just seems almost impossible to superimpose it into the existing intros for the games because there is just SO MUCH in the way. I've explained my method for masking stuff frame by frame in the "Making-of: Sly Cooper Reviews" video and I had a go at it here. The problem is that it's just so messy and so obvious that I've tried to remove what was there.

So, I'm kid of lost. I'd really like to replicate each games' unique logo sequences (because they're fucking brilliant and super nostalgic for me) but... I don't see it happening in the time frame. The only other options are:

-re-creating the entire thing (not worth the time or budget it'd cost to get someone else to do it)
-spending the time just re-creating one of them (problem is, it'd still look bad and people would wonder why I didn't re-create ALL of them)
-OR make something original to use for all the videos!

The problem with this is WHAT? And also... I'm not a fucking animator! I can't do 2D and I've forgotten how to do 3D (was never any good anyway). So I don't really know what to do there because in my mind, what better way to make a channel special that I plan on doing annually, than giving it it's own branding. it worked for Zelda month and while this is far less interesting than that, it's one of the reasons I always wanted to review stuff. This series is bloated with stuff to talk about!

Next Week) I'm not sure what I'm going to do about it honestly but I need to figure it out quickly. I'm hoping today to finish my second script for the week so that I can shoot another 2 videos tomorrow, edited over the weekend and granting myself TWO WEEKS AHEAD OF UPLOADS! I'm on top of it guys, fucking finally right? Such a shame I'm not good at operating well in advance, my best shit is done down to the wire (look at Bad Wrestling Games) but it's a necessary thing, I'll cope. Once these 2 videos are done, I'll begin scripting the 5 videos for this special and hopefully getting thins like intro graphics and branding ready. There is a lot of detail to go into these and I like to pride myself on my high attention to detail.

I'll get it sorted, I've been planning my thoughts internally while playing the games and since I want the videos to only be short (so that I can get them done) they should be jam packed with stuff, making them easy watches... hopefully anyway. That is the general idea! So with that, I'll get on with my day and stop fucking procrastinating by writing this and get shit done for you guys! Thanks for reading and I hope you have a great fucking day. Cheers!

It's amazing how you can actually alter a video game mascot logo like spyro or crash. The October special sounds interesting. Another underrated PS2 game I have come across is Sphinx and the cursed Mummy.

It's a bit of a trick and a lot more messing around than it's probably worth, but I see it as a challenge honestly. If I pull it off, helps to make each video feel like an experience (at least I hope it does). Always wanted to try that but I've heard of game breaking glitches towards the end. Hoping to get there some day though! :)

Yeah there's a glitch where if you use a save point while playing the mummy, it permanently locks a door. Its not been confirmed which version of the game it is tho
