Is it October Yet? (Blog) (Patreon)

Hey guys, how is everyone this week? What's the latest game you've been playing just out of curiosity? I'm finally at the fifth and final game for this week long special coming up in a month's time. It's been fun but it's wearing on me a bit, keen to start smashing out scripts!

September) ALL of this month's content has been completed, aside from a thumbnail, the rendering of some outtakes and hopefully a trailer coming in on the final week. It feels good to be ahead but with my mind already hard focused on October, it's kind of confusing at times. I was actually fairly lucky though: in my mind, I had three weeks to get five reviews completed but looking at the calendar, I actually have FOUR. An extra week's worth of time is such a life saver and if I still need extra time, I've got wiggle room to push the project into October further if needed but I honestly don't think it will come to that. My dilemma last week about the branding and effects etc. these videos need has been semi-resolved. I've decided to remake everything from scratch, shooting myself on green screen, animating intro sequences from the ground up and all that fun stuff. It's not my strongest area but I can make it work.

October) Like I said, I'm really gunning for the first week of October and I plan on following it up immediately. When most channels do some kind of special, they're not there the following week to keep the ball rolling but I'll be sure to have most likely a Top 10 and business as usual. Having said that, the rest of the month will be a little messy. I'm going to PAX AUS again this year and the date for that is a week earlier, meaning that a Halloween review (uploaded on Halloween) will need to be done a week early so... the schedule looks like this:

Just so that I have time to fit everything in. From there, I'll begin work on the next series reviews: Skylanders! 

But that just about covers everything this week, there isn't a whole lot to report unfortunately. I'm just trying to work away as efficiently as possible to hopefully make this new channel event to be something people will want more of next year.
