Hello everyone, holy shit it's exciting, content is back again NEXT WEEK... wow. Feels like an eternity right?

PLEASE LEAVE US SOME QUESTIONS AND TOPICS FOR JANUARY'S PATREON PODCAST! Plan is to have that up by the end of next week so what are we gonna talk about? That's up to you!

---------------------------------------------------

Large Scale Series Review) Trying to get my shit into gear on this one has definitely been a job. The current timeline on that is:

  • Finish off the games for Part 5 and 6
  • Start writing scripts hopefully over the next week or so

This thing kinda NEEDS to get filmed in February, maybe the start of March at the latest due to weather and schedules. One of the major things I'm trying to keep in mind with this is the scale. Things had to be removed in order for last year's Hawktober to even get done, and I'm prepared to make those same sacrifices to this series for the sake of actually making it possible. What's going to make that tricky is the story aspect, the first episode is more of a non-episode. It'll be used to setup the series, what's going on, set the tone and all that, to save front loading the first actual episode. If that makes sense. It'll be the hardest episode to write for those reasons, but once it's completed, I think it'll time to charge through it.

First Episode of the Year) I mentioned it in this week's update video but I honestly have no idea where to start. I'm thinking over a few ideas but all these other projects really do get in the way. Once the games for the 6-parter are out of the way, I'll have time to actually play some stuff and figure it out. Right now, I'm stuck between two PS1 games and an NES game. All games I'd like to cover at some point, but we'll see how that goes.

Branding Updates) I'd like to give you all a sneak peak to some of the new artwork done by the amazing Niro! It'll be replacing what we've got all over the place by the end of this week but I'm really happy with the result and think it'll give this channel the revitalization it needs going into a New Year, with SEASON FIVE!

Patreon Updates) Thanks to those for leaving feedback on the FREE test post for the brand new 'Behind the Scenes' tier! If you haven't given it a read yet, please CLICK HERE to take a look, as I'd love to hear what people think! This new tier IS OFFICIALLY AVAILABLE RIGHT NOW for $2 per month!

TO PATREONS ALREADY PLEDGING $2 or MORE on the 'Tip Jar' tier, please make sure you upgrade to the new tier to ensure you'll get access to the new rewards on offer! I don't think Patreon automatically upgrades you even if you're ALREADY pledging $2 or more, so just be sure to check that! You WON'T get double charged or anything like that, it's just to make sure you'll actually be notified of new posts exclusive to that tier.

As for the other Patreon updates, the front page has been fully re-written. I spent a lot of time on it and while it's still a bit lengthy, it is shorter and more to the point of how Patreon affects the channel's production. So again, please give it a read as I'm looking for feedback on that before I promote the page with an official trailer. The plans for that video are to do more showing, than telling. With over 2 YEARS of backing, I've got plenty to show off just how much this has shaped the channel! When it's done, the trailer will also be available on the main page and I'll make sure you all get to see it before it goes public! Thanks in advance for all feedback on that stuff!

The current goal for Patreon is $600 per month! This is an important milestone to aim for as this would be the first step towards actually being able to support myself with the channel! It's an incredibly important number to hit that combined with an average month of YouTube ad revenue, would not only allow more budget for videos, as well as saving up for future purchases, for videos or equipment should something break. But it will also help to cover some of my important living expenses. Hitting this would officially make the channel and regularly profitable brand, that can support itself AND the guy behind it. So with that, I'd like to thank each and everyone one of you who have already pledged! You're all absolute legends so thank you, wholeheartedly!

 ---------------------------------------------------

Closing Thoughts) I think that's everything for this week so just to quickly recap:

  • Lots of episodes under construction
  • Re-brand is almost complete
  • Patreon updates almost complete

I NEED FROM YOU:

  • Feedback on the Patreon updates
  • QUESTIONS AND TOPICS FOR THE JANUARY PODCAST

And that about does it people. Once I get these games finished for the 6-parter, work on the first episode will commence, alongside some more Live Streams. If you have any questions, be sure to let me know. Thanks for reading and as always, I hope you have a great fucking day. Cheers guys! :D
