Hello, please explain... how the fuck is it already the last FULL WEEK of January????

I've got some updates on last week's update video but before I get into them, I'm very happy that content is back! While it still did ok, the Top 10 video that went up this week was a little underwhelming analytics wise, but it is a slow time of year. I'm hoping for things to pick up some in February once I can start getting some actual episodes out!

Note for the January Podcast: It will be up by the end of the month, hopefully this weekend. Sorry to a couple of people, a few questions were asked after we'd already recorded the episode. We'll be sure to get to them in the next one!

-----------------------------------------------------

An Update on Testing Content) I mentioned in last week's update video that I had planned to stockpile a large quantity of Game Testing episodes, ready for editing and uploading as needed, to try and alleviate some of pressure of having videos going up. I did run out of time in doing so, however last week, I gained TWO FULL DAYS I wasn't expecting to have available for shooting. So I took the opportunity to mass record 4 episodes over both days. Now depending what else will be going up and how busy I am finding time to edit them, that could last us either a month (with one every week, with or without other videos) OR, it could be stretched longer to say... 2 months. Doing this, it would help fill the gaps if I don't have something else going up that week. We'll see what happens. I also have a 5th episode shot a couple weeks back ready to go up next week! So for Early Access Patrons, you'll get that at the start of this weekend.

Of course like I said, all of these still require editing but it's good to have some extra stuff just ready, should a bigger video be delayed for example. I should also mention that we're PAST THE HALFWAY POINT through the shovelware box... That's insane! I counted and there are less than 40 games left. So at an average at 5 games per episode, we're looking at only 8 episodes left (give or take). When it's all said and done, I plan to have a final video to breakdown what worked, what didn't work. The ratio of sports titles and some other fun stats like that, as well as how the investment turned out in the end. I might also include a compilation or montage of highlights from the past year, from each episode. It really has been a saga for the channel, one I've truly enjoyed making and quite honestly... it'll be sad to it end. Don't fret though, regular Game Testing episodes will still continue!

Latest Addition to the Collection) I can't believe it's taken me so long to get one of these since I've wanted one for almost 12 years... but I finally picked up a PSP!

What this means is that it opens the door for future game reviews (cough cough Hawktober 2019) which is awesome! Honestly, the only PSP game I've reviewed previously is Daxter. This means that in future, I won't have to rely on emulators. I'll be able to look at the real thing and cap it via the Framemeister!

It's got a crisp, pixelized look similar to how the PS1 graphics appear over RGB through the device. Like I said, this is required for Hawktober this year, but it also something I've wanted since I was a little kid so to finally have one is really dope. Got a good deal and come with a few games. I've also had a bunch of games sent to me last September so, look forward to an eventual Game Testing Live Stream and potential episode in the future!

Framemeister Video) Speaking on that, I'm hoping to get my revisit episode done by the end of this month ready to go up in February. I've tried to keep it as simple as possible however, there is just so much to cover so it'll probably get a bit lengthy. I'm also hoping I can get a Collection Update coming along soon. I'd love to kind of show how some of my full sets are coming along, such as Tony Hawk, Crash, Spyro etc. as well as talk about some other things. All of this is subject to change however, as reviews will be taking priority like always!

-----------------------------------------------------

Closing Thoughts) So in short, things will hopefully be picking up pace next month. I'd really like to get back to 2 videos per week but that's wishful thinking at this stage anyway. The most important thing right now is keeping on top of the bigger projects for the year, while maintain a steady flow of content until then. I am sitting on a couple of ideas to start episodes with this year, but I'm not 100% on them yet. Of course I want the first episode of the year to be a little special, of course.

But anyway, until then, thank you all so much for reading and I hope you have a great fucking day. Cheers guys!

Check back this weekend for the January Podcast & Early Access to Game Testing!

THUG 2 Remix on PSP is really good, I hope you can get your hands on it for hawktober :)

RadioTails

The good old PSP, beaten by the less powerful Nintendo DS. The only thing I didn't like about the PSP was the tiny analog stick (and I have small hands myself). Apparently only the Model 2 version supports video out? Looking forward to watching the live PSP testing.

I think PSP lacked a lot of first party stuff and most of it are just ports. Whereas DS had a lot of exclusives and alternate versions of other games. Plus Nintendo, of course it did well. The PSP 2000 and 3000 are both capable of video out.
