I'd like to apologize. It's been a really hectic, bad time behind the scenes for me lately. I'm not going into it but honestly, the worst thing for me has just been a disruption to the schedule. I would REALLY like to have a review up by next week and it could still, potentially happen... but when I'll get the chance to film it, I don't know. Just in case, I have another game testing episode edited so there will still be a video going up. It's just a shame that when I finally think I'm on top of things again, something happens and messes up all my perfectly laid plans.

Since these disruptions also effected recording this month's podcast, THERE IS STILL TIME to drop some questions! We're running low for February so please, a few more questions and topics will do wonders for the episode. Hopefully... it'll be available by the end of next week!

-----------------------------------------------

Despite All That) I've finally been having some luck in the writing department! The first review of 2019 is written, just waiting on a proof read and some revisions I've got on schedule to do immediately after writing this. I've also had some slow, but sure progress on that 6-Parter! 2/6 those episodes are written, with more hopefully on the way. Like I mentioned last week though, I'll be dropping all that to get this first episode out if necessary and... it's kind of gotten pretty necessary at this point. But, progress is still being made!

Live Streams) I really wanted to be back streaming regularly but with these road blocks, I'm both unable to and not in the mood anyway. When I get back to them though, as by request of a Twitter poll, we'll be playing some more Tony Hawk and Futurama on PS2, to recap gameplay on both! (Also Part 2 of N-Tranced)

The Game Testing Dilemma) This week's game Testing Episode did well. It was the HALFWAY THROUGH episode which has made me realize a hard fact. Since that episode was shot, half of what was left then has also been tested and with the box getting emptier and emptier, I've got something new to figure out...

What the hell are we gonna do when it's finished?

I know I'm doing a recap sort of episode, showing what worked and what didn't, giving some stats and such, as well as a possible montage video of the best moments throughout the series. But these videos ending will put a large hole in the lineup. Of course, traditionally, the game testing episodes were more designed as a way for me test what I've bought and get some content out at the same time. But nobody really cared about those videos until the PS2 shovelware box and since I've had it, those videos have been a lot more enjoyable and natural to make. Pulling the games at random has a sort of exciting quality to it because you really never know what's going to happen. This series has literally doubled the average viewership for testing videos, but at times, it has actually performed BETTER THAN REVIEWS... what?! So for that reason, I'd like to try and keep it going but I'm not sure hoe exactly. How can I source games and pay for them accordingly, without knowing exactly what I'm buying? That's the current dilemma.

I was thinking I could post some ads looking to buy people's 'duplicates' or scraps even, but that's not the best idea. I have also wanted to combine the game testing episodes with unboxing content, whenever I'm lucky enough to have someone donate some physical games which is awesome. Thank you to the people who've done that. But that can also be a tricky, even sometimes, touchy setup to execute. So I don't really know how to go about this. The point is, I'd really like to see this randomizer gameplay content stay around, longer than this current box will provide. I'm open to suggestions so let me have it!

Closing Thoughts) So again, I'm sorry for the weird and broken schedule so far this year. But thank you all for being so incredibly patient! I'm doing everything I can to make sure you'll get a review by the end of this month and not run out of content in the meantime. Don't forget to leave us some more questions and discussion topics for the podcast, as I'll be doing my best to have that up hopefully next week! But that about does it for now so thanks for reading, and I hope you have a great fucking day. Cheers guys! :D

Do you ever have any ideas for games and think "How has this not been done yet?".

Hopefully I’m not too late to leave questions for the Podcast: What is your opinion of people spoiling the ending in Video Game Reviews?
