Hey, hope everyone is doing well. So last week, I talked about how the upcoming video schedule is subject to change. But when I wrote that, I honestly didn't foresee anything changing. At least not drastically...

Loss of Focus) It's no secret, content has been lopsided this year. With a lot of game testing content and not much in terms of Square Eyed Jak episodes. We've also had a couple of Top 10's but honestly, they were both pretty dead on arrival. I've been well aware of this and have been doing my best to get it back on track, but then I saw something. The straw that broke the camel's back:

Some of you may have seen this on my Twitter and still, this is NOT to start a witch hunt or anything. I actually agree with this comment 100%. It's gotten bad and so I need to make some serious moves to get everything back on track. So as an immediate response, this week's testing episode has been cancelled. Early Access patrons have actually already seen it but that doesn't matter, it'll be on YouTube some other time soon. Now with that... I'm hoping to get an update of some description up on the channel later this week, to address all this officially and publicly.
I quite often forget that not everyone gets to see these posts. This issue has been something I've been banging on about week after week to all of you Patrons in these posts... but the vast majority have no clue what's going on most of the time.

So I feel it's good reason to get into the issue a little, discuss what's changing and what to expect in the coming months. This video will be finished and uploaded without hesitation, so no Early Access on that one. You all get the heads up here.

The Short Version) Game Testing will take a brief break OR, will be the second upload of the week, depending how much other content I can get done. I do actually have a bit more on the horizon finally! Game room/collection type content will be back for a little while. I know at least 2 videos I'm planning to work on, the first I'm hoping will be up next week! The moment that is done, I'll begin work on the 3rd Square Eyed Jak episode of the year, along with some Crash content prior to CTR: Nitro Fueled! Keep in mind, I'm also getting that 6-Parter done on the side. I'm hoping to start filming that this upcoming weekend, now that all scripts have been finalized!

Crash Boom Bang!) Now you're probably wondering, why in the actual fuck is there a picture of such a foul game on this post. Well the answer is simple... that's a direct capture from my Nintendo DS with capture card installed for recording gameplay!
YES, finally got that under control and while I haven't had a whole lot of time with it, I'm stoked to get into it. That means I'm equipped for future content on the system, played WITHOUT emulators, meaning I can actually experience the touch pad etc.

But it also means more immediately, that I'm 90% prepared to start playing Tony Hawk games for Hawktober later this year! Pretty big deal, I'm gonna be honest. I'll go into some more details on this device in an upcoming game room video, don't worry.

Closing Thoughts) I'll leave it there for this week. Given I pretty much dropped my schedule for some personal projects (that you will see in video form) just to reset my brain a little, due to all that's going on, best to save it for the update video later this week. I hate to be the guy that does more than one of those per year, let alone within a couple months. But this time, I think it's necessary.
