A Kick in the Balls (Blog) (Patreon)

Hey guys, apologies for the lack of a post last week. Of course as I've mentioned around the place, I had family matters to take care of. If there is one thing adult life has taught me the past few years, is that each kick in the balls is often followed close behind by another... and another! 2019 has been a perfect example of that. SO as a result, some things have had to change that I'm going to go over right now.

2 Hour Episode) The original plan was to have all 3 Crash revisit episodes up within the same week, the last one of May, so that I could have this BIG episode up prior to Nitro Fueled. Of course, that didn't happen and now, I've basically had to shelve that video for the time being. Priority right now is getting this 6-parter reigned in and under control, so I simply don't have the time to edit a 2 hour episode. I could of course hand the editing off, but for an ambitious project and new concept never seen before. It's my idea, it needs my fingerprints all over it, not anybody else's. So to be perfectly clear here: the video is NOT cancelled, merely delayed until the end of the year, following Hawktober! That gives me time to work it in the background, as well as pre-plan some potential help with the post-production phase, should I need it. Because there is still a chance that might have to happen. I don't know yet. Just be confident the delay is in the sake of quality and my own well-being and not without a lack in effort. Trust me, you'll love it when you see it. That I AM confident in!

June Content) Yeah... fuck knows at this point. I lost 2 weeks unexpectedly so I just haven't had time (or mental energy) for any work. I did want that testing finale up but I don't see that happening, maybe for July though. All depends really. Otherwise, for what I can tell, the next video on the channel will be the Crash team Racing: Nitro Fueled review in early July. It's a shame because that boost in momentum from Crash content was designed to be the setup for a lot of this years big plans, but it's already kind of dissipated now thanks to the lack of followup content and E3 happening.

6-Part Review Series) I AM GOING TO GET THIS FUCKING THING FINISHED RAIN OR SHINE (most likely rain) IF IT'S THE LAST THING I DO! I need this done for me. The channel needs this done. I don't know how in the actual fuck it's going to happen, but if it has to be worked on alongside Hawktober up until the day or release, then so be it! ONTO SOME GOOD NEWS THOUGH: The series is 50% filmed! Episode Two is completely filmed meaning that I can get some post-production started, during the time I'm unable to film due to weather or any other reason. Along with that, there are only a handful of MAJOR shoot sessions left to complete, with many of the videos at least halfway shot. So it is getting there. Problem is that when Nitro Fueled drops, the project will obviously have to be put on hold again to get that video up ASAP. Following that, I'll only have 2 weeks before my absolute final shoot deadline, seemingly impossible to complete beyond that point...

so yeah, I'm A LITTLE anxious!

Tony Hawktober) I've started playing games! Hooray! Of course, I've been playing the games for the past couple months, but that's only been recapturing gameplay for titles I've already covered. Well I'm finally starting to chip away at the large pile of new titles for this year's special which is good.

Closing Thoughts) Yeah... it's been a rough one lately guys. I'm trying to balance everything but things have gotten pretty overwhelming as of late. IF YOU COULDN'T TELL! ahaha

It's alright though. Like I said, I'm committed, I'm going to make this work and everything I have promised will be delivered. Some days I really wish I didn't care so much and could just be lazy and sell out to what always works well at 10% of the effort... but that just isn't who I am. So I'm seriously grateful that everyone appreciates that and especially all of you, who support me here. Mad love!
