Hey, hope you all enjoyed the CTR: Nitro Fueled episode! Had some complaints from people about certain aspects of it, but majority seem happy with it, so I'm happy! More so, I'm happy the fucking thing is over with, for the most part, so I can get back to the 6-Parter!

PLEASE LEAVE US SOME QUESTIONS AND TOPICS FOR THE JULY PODCAST!!! We'll be recording the episode later this week/early next week sometime, so let us have it. Again, major apologies for having to cancel the June episode due to lack of time. But I'll make sure the July episode is available ASAP!

-------------------------------------

Two Weeks Until Deadline!!!) The 6-Parter is coming up on it's major deadline... no way we're gonna hit it ahaha! Not for the entire thing, however, the first 4 episodes should be fine, weather permitting! I've mentioned already, Episode 2 is FINISHED, Episode 3 is finally underway with editing. That only leaves a couple filming days I'm hoping to knock out over the next 10 days, for all of those videos to be ready for post-production! The other 2 episodes can be filmed and edited in late July/sometime in August, as I'm hoping for them to go up in September. It's scary but with my new found optimism on the project, I'm keen to give it my all... and I know everyone else involved, is keen to give their all as well!

Finally Starting to Play Some Decent Tony Hawk Games) As far as Hawktober is concerned, I'm still working through the games. 8 down, 9 to go! Normally by this point, especially with so much else going on around it, I'd be starting to burn out on Hawktober but so far, I'm still enjoying trying all the games I missed. And I'm looking forward to the writing process. The underrated episode from 2018 was the 'Pro Skaters Leftovers' episode, it was definitely one of my favourites to make. So I'm looking to keep that a trend this year, of course with some different episodes mixed in. Right now, I'm finally putting my PSP to use and I'm kinda nervous, but excited to get stuck into the Nintendo DS as well. I've got the video mod but I haven't had a lot of time with it yet.

Miscellaneous Shit) Some more info has been released on Nitro Fueled's Grand Prix unlocks, at least for the first event. So hopefully it should be pretty straight forward to get a gameplay video filmed with the important content i.e. the new track as well as some of the unlockable characters and what not. I mentioned last time that I'd like to make that a regular series each month, with every content drop. I'm hoping it can help to keep some momentum going for the channel, covering topical content. As much as I've tried to escape Crash's clutches in the past, this is the stuff I love about the series being back: NEW STUFF! The courses and characters, it's stuff I want to cover anyway because I find it incredibly interesting from a historical perspective... I guess, if that makes any sense. So yeah, I AM BREAKING my long standing policy on regular Crash content! Fight me!

Like I said, it's content I want to make, first and foremost. But it should also help the channel as well, and it'll help everything across the board perform well. If the Grand Prix's turn into a disaster to see the new content, then the videos will stop very quickly. But for now anyway, it seems like a solid idea to get back into some more consistent content. I also mentioned last week I'll be looking to employ some help to edit this content, among other things, so I don't see it taking a huge chunk out of my available time.

With the time I'll gain not having to edit gameplay content, once this 6-Parter is mostly completed and being uploaded, I'll only have Hawktober to focus on. Given I'm taking a more lax approach to it this year, I'm hoping that I'll finally have some time to get back into a decent workout routine. The exercise series is something I plan on finishing (or really, resurrecting and then finishing). It's a series that is deeply personal to me that I also feel has somewhat of a larger impact. Do video game workouts actually work? It's a great concept! Problem is my bad habits, the reason I started the series in the first place. Lack of time has been my biggest crutch so the hope is later this year and in 2020, I can finally get back on top of it and start losing weight again! Everything I lost initially has come back on and then some, so I need to get it back under control. For my health, my self-esteem and because I made a promise to myself that I'd commit to the project.

-------------------------------------

Closing Thoughts) So yeah, that's what's on my mind this week. Mostly the same stuff but hopefully, you noticed a more positive attitude. I've been feeling a lot more confident in what I've got planned for the channel, as well just generally feeling better with myself and the world lately. I'm not at 100% but it's pretty rare that I am, but right now is definitely a much needed change of pace. So I look forward to seeing these bigger projects start to wrap and get underway in the coming weeks and I hope you have a great fucking day. Cheers!

DON'T FORGET, DROP SOME QUESTIONS FOR THE PODCAST BELOW!!! :D
