Content Returning in July... I Hope (Blog) (Patreon)

Hello, hope everyone is feeling ok this week. Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled is FINALLY OUT and wow, I've been having a lot of fun with it. I'm hoping to do a multiplayer stream sometime in the near future, though I'm still figuring out the best way of organizing that so stay tuned. Of course, I'm also in a bit of a shuffle keeping a balanced production on all of these different projects... but things are getting there, slowly but surely.

CTR: Nitro Fueled Review) I had some trouble writing the script for this one. I sat for 4 hours and wrote absolutely fuck all, then proceeded to sit for another 3 hours and smash out the entire 5 and a half page script! :D

Once I've given that some revision after writing this, I'll be able to film it tomorrow and get stuck into the editing. It's going to be longer than I wanted, as is always the case, but it should be up for normal upload time next week. So Early Access Patrons, the video should be available sometime later over the weekend!

Other Projects) I'm still working hard to get this 6-Parter done. I've organized a couple shoots to try and get more of these episodes fully filmed. Weather is a trick along with schedules, but if I can get 2 of the 4 big shoots I have left done, along with 2 or 3 smaller days done within the next 3 weeks... we should... hopefully be ok! As I can't film my CTR episode today, I'll be starting the editing of Episode 3 that was filmed by the waterfall I mentioned last week. Given that there are 6 parts to this series review, I'd like to have the first 4 go up, then have a 2 week break for something other content, then have parts 5 and 6 go up, hopefully with enough time for a week break prior to Hawktober. Parts 5 and 6 involve some of the more simple shoot days so I'm not focusing on those, until I know I can have these other 4 episodes up when I want them. Like I've said previously, one of them is FINISHED! Another is ready for editing through until the end scene. So we're getting there. It'll just be trying to juggle this, along with Hawktober production.

Speaking of Tony Hawktober, I'm still just trying to get through the games. It's been taking a little longer than expected, but that's partially my fault for being so thorough. Currently on my 7th game out of 17 though so, almost half way through! Not sure if I've mentioned this already, but I've decided to focus on more shorter episodes this year, to help speed up production, provide more content and have each video feel a lot more focused than I was originally planning. People think I don't have much more to talk about... well we're looking at 10 EPISODES of Hawktober this year! How do you like that?! The current timeline (assuming all runs smoothly, ahaha, when does that ever happen) is for 2 weeks, with a week gap in the middle of October. This year, it's really going to be a month long celebration, for the series 20th Anniversary!

Grand Prix's and Game Testing) With CTR's Grand Prix mode introducing new, original content to the series, I'd love to cover these are they release. Depending how simple or complicated it is to unlock the new content, this may be via the form of gameplay videos, similar to my Story Ascent video from 2017. Or it may just be in the form of live streams. So keep an eye out for that content over the coming months, though if the game makes it incredibly bullshit to unlock, don't expect anything because that will really kill my enthusiasm.

As for game testing, I'm hoping that the moment I have a day eligible for filming, where I can't work on the 6-Parter or anything else. I'm keen to shoot the finale of the PS2 shovelware box. Editing for that, as well as potential CTR Grand Prix episodes could potentially be handed off. It'd give me the time to stay focused on bigger projects and allow for a better content flow in the meantime. So just thought I should mention that a portion of Patreon funds could very well go towards hiring some help in the near future. That's what it's there for, to help with content. And I think I may finally be ready to get some help with this. Anyway, just thought I'd mention that for the sake of transparency and thank you all so much for the continued support this year, despite many bumps in the road!
