And it BEGINS!!! (Blog) (Patreon)

*read in epic voice*
"And so as the first-eth episode of Hawktober 2019 was upload-eth, the second to last episode was completed as well-eth."

HEY everyone, holy shit, I hope you are all fucking pumped for the special this year. Great comments from Early Access patrons already, thank you. Week Two will be available on Friday 9am AEDT. Since I'm STILL working on Hawktober, despite the fact it's already being published, I just want to cover a few things and be done with it this week.

-------------------------------------------

Hawktober Progress) As that super epic intro explained, day 9 of the 10 day event is rendering as I write this... meaning there is only one more to go. If you wanna run some rad math, completion on everything is 97%... assuming that all the videos are equal weight. It is actually much more in the ball park of 60-70% complete as the finale episode is such a whopper. But I remain confident that it will be completed on time. There will not be any Early Access for the episode as I've previously pointed out, but hopefully, it will be on time. For all the work, I'm actually really excited to edit this one as it's something totally different. I've never done anything like this before, NOBODY has, so I'm super keen to see just how it turns out and what people think. If it's well received, I'd love to make it a semi-regular occurrence on the channel.

And no, it's not Tony Hawk appearing or me landing a 900 as some have wildly guessed. 😉

Planned Content to Close 2019) let's get one thing straight, I'll have earned a day or two off once Hawktober is finished. How it has come together with such efficiency is beyond me. My first job after this special will be a Testing/Mail episode just because I feel like doing that, followed with my jumping back into Ty to hopefully finished them before Christmas. But if not, I DO NOT fucking care because I'm like a walking corpse at this point. I see no reason why they wouldn't be doable in that time frame, but given how this year has been, just figure I should mention that is my mindset.

On top of that, of course you can expect to see Behind the Scenes videos on both Hawktober and Ty the Tasmanian Tiger as they're completed, along with outtakes. BTS Patreon Posts for Hawktober will begin AFTER all the episodes are out. And because there isn't a significant amount to discuss on individual episodes, I'll cover each week in seperate posts.

But I actually would like to try a different type of video once all of this is completed. I have this super old camera that I inherited and I'd like to try and insert some humanity into the channel by doing a short video on that. I've got an idea for a photography project that I'd like to attempt that hopefully, will also be fun to document and turn into a little short film/personal piece for something radically different. If it gets done this year or next, I don't know. Really I'm just waiting until I have some spare time, so it's likely to be filmed over the Christmas break period as a fun side project. Hopefully that's an idea people are into, let me know. I'd like to be able to do the odd video like that from time to time.

Here is a picture of the type of camera, it's called a Brownie Box and this model is circa 1940's-50's. I need to figure out film and some subjects etc. but it's something I've had here since my birthday that I've wanted to do something with. But just recently, the concept of doing a short film came to mind.

Closing Thoughts) Well that about does it this week, I'm gonna go and make one final hawktober thumbnail and enjoy a night off, before absolutely bloody smashing out the editing on this finale. So until next time, enjoy Hawktober and have a great fucking day. Cheers people! 😊
