When Are We Dropping In? (Blog) (Patreon)

G'day rad lads, hope you're all doing well. I've had very few real updates lately so we're just gonna jump in and get to it today!

THPS Review) I've had some delays on this episode clearly. Such a shame but these things happen I suppose, though all that really has happened is a pure drop in energy for me. It's something I've been having trouble with all year and my psychologist believes it could very well be related to some potential ADHD stuff so I'm in the process of getting that diagnosed. But yeah, just lacking the motivation.
Getting the opportunity to start playing THPS before the game is released when Activision send you the game is so fucking cool. BUT I am learning the hard way that I think it's over-exciting my brain to some extent. So much so that it makes me feel burnt out before I even begin working.

So because of this, it took me WAY longer than I'd planned to get the script done and filming has taken a toll on me safe to say. That said, the hard stuff is out of the way after a big session at the skatepark today. Tomorrow I'll have my VO recorded and then I'll be able to start editing. Early Access Patrons should expect to see it sometime over the weekend! It's quite late which is a bit disappointing I'll admit, but it's still before Crash 4 and Hawktober so that's the important thing and I think people will enjoy the video! It's a bit longer than I would have liked too but I thought it was important to be thorough!

Hawktober Progress) Production on this totally stopped once I had my hands on the THPS remake so now that I'm entering the post-production phase on that, plan is to finish up the last few games so that I can knockout script completion the moment that video is finished. Then all I need to do is mass factory line that shit like every other year. Whether or not I can get my hands on Crash 4 earlier than release, that will have a major impact on what releases first. Since Crash 4 just needs to be a standard review without anything special on location or whatever, I predict that video dropping as close to release as physically possible for me, with Hawktober very close behind. **subject to change of course

In the Meantime...) I have been sitting on a Game Testing episode that I just refuse to upload until THPS is out of the way, so you can expect this the week in-between that episode releasing and Crash 4 releasing, so Friday 25th 9am AEDT will be game testing!

After All of the Chaos) Once all this stuff is done, I plan on just escaping for a week or so. Go and live on a beach and just regroup. That has always been a Christmas tradition for the family as it's a great recharge, but I didn't get it last year and every year I miss that... no kidding, I just have the worst years. So the plan is to get it out of the way SUPER EARLY in November because I'm so overdue.
As for content in the rest of 2020, I'm looking forward to just being able to take a look at what I've got access to, have a fiddle around with some games and hopefully find a couple I'd like to discuss. Keep it super chill!

I guess it will also be time to begin working on another ELR as I have a couple in my back pocket, one highly requested ELR needs a lot of games to be recorded yet so if I can get my act together on streaming, I'll probably aim for that in December/January. I had such a great time streaming THPS last week, reminded me why I love streaming so much!
But as usual, please try to keep in mind that I'm still a work in progress on getting my shit together at this time. And once we hit the New Year, I'll have about 3 months to find a new place to live which is obviously too early to discuss in detail right now.

But when the time comes, expect a bit of a hiatus as if things go to plan there, I will be moving to another state or at the very least, into a bigger place. It will be a lot of work BUT it will also mean I can have things set up a bit more like how they used to be, which should only assist in getting content out.
