G'day radical legends, HOLY SHIT it's that time of year again! I hope you're all excited to dive into another full week of Pro Skater related content.
This year for the special we'll be taking a look at the Activision O2 series of THPS clones that were designed to launch several extreme sports franchises, to basically print a bunch of money. I thought it was important to give these games the spotlight this year...

A) To give us a change of pace from the same Tony Hawk skateboarding stuff

B) Because it's best to look at the official clones first, before tackling the MASSIVE amount of other knockoff titles in the future.

So I hope you enjoy the series of videos, I'm really excited to hear some feedback so please let me know what you think! The videos this year are far more simple but I'm still very happy with how everything turned out.
NO SHARING OF THESE VIDEOS!!! I can not make this any clearer, but you will have to wait until the videos to go live on YouTube before sharing them. I know everyone here is super awesome and would never think about it, but reminders never hurt when people are excited about content! Enjoy Hawktober 2020 and have a great fucking day, cheers!

Fantastic work on the videos! Maybe it's because I watched them in one go, but the GBC/GBA "bonus" sections felt like they were tacked on. It does suck when they don't give much to talk about, but when you talk for 10 minutes about Pro Surfer and then jump straight into a meh portable version to make the video longer, it lost some of it's charm. Personally, I think it would have been better to have the ports in a single video. Still, you have done a wonderful job with the videos. We may have to call Pro Editor very soon!

Thanks mate! Interesting fun fact is that all the portable stuff helped to make the videos shorter, rather than longer, because of my approach to script writing this year. Kinda hard to explain but the goal was to not ramble as much and get to the point, though I can totally see what you're saying. The decision not to them all in a single episode is purely based on the video performance. If the Tony Hawk portable episodes were mostly dead on arrival last year and greatly underperformed, the O2 portable games would have been even less popular. So it just made sense to include them within the main episodes. Hopefully it will feel less tacked on to people discovering the individual episodes over time. 😊

One of my favorite times of the year! Tony hawktober! One of the best video game series ever. I'm actually playing underground right now. Trying to beat the story on sick.

Fucking love Underground, I can do that shit on sick with my eyes shut these days. Such a great game. Blows my mind how many people consider it trash. 🤔

Terran Gaming

I know right ? I have no idea why they think its trash. Its the best tony hawk game in my opinion. Loved your review on it too by the way. I thought it was way better than underground 2. In my opinion. Underground 2 was still a great game but I prefer the first one more. I love the kiss level too. Its so badass. Since I'm a kiss fan. Also playing as iron man. Epic. But i think my favorite secret skater will always be Darth maul from pro skater 3. That shit blew my mind as a kid.

Was never intro Star Wars when I was younger but Jango Fett in THPS4 basically lets you fly around all over the map, it's amazing.

Terran Gaming

That is amazing I'll have to try that out. Curious question what would your opinion be if they remade the underground games like they did pro skater 1 and 2?

1- It won't ever happen, simple as that. 2- Stupid idea because THUG2 is so incredibly dated with it's Jackass content, it is entirely irrelevant at this point. There is next to no consumer interest beyond the hardcore THPS fans from back in the day.
