G'day big air legends, hope you're all doing well. Great to see the Crash 4 episode finally up, seems to be doing ok just in the early stages... though it is behind the THPS 1+2 episode which is interesting...🤔
FINAL CALL for October Podcast questions and topics! Drop a comment below, the episode will be recorded the moment I'm done working on Hawktober and most likely uploaded the week of. That means potentially the next episode will be super late November or just save it for early December!

Hawktober Progress Update) At the time of writing, I have just finished episode 4/6 which is super cool. Unfortunately lost a full day yesterday just due to being absolutely knackered but that's ok. ETA on everything being finished is early next week. Early Access patrons should see the entire special become available a week from now, with everything going up daily the final week of the month!
I've been really happy with the quality of the episodes, even just for mostly simple stuff. Think the Apocalypse episode; simple, brief, uncomplicated but still with jokes, analysis of the weird shit and of course, the history lesson that comes with a series review. Unlike other years, it doesn't even really feel like a huge accomplishment when I get the next thing finished for some reason. Possibly just because the entire project has been designed knowing I'm wrecked, to be as achievable as possible. Maybe it's not as fulfilling for me... or it's because I'm so tired, that I just want it over... who knows ahaha!
Mini-review: Days Gone) Nothing else has really been going on lately but knowing I'm well on track work wise, I've already been trying to get into playing stuff for fun ready for my break in November. Been so excited to try Days Gone after so long but the fucking bastard had a 42gb update patch... which took about 4 days to download and install.
Finally started playing, hated it. Thought it was stiff and boring, nothing special and I just love how it continuously shatters immersion as it fails to naturally transition between cutscenes and gameplay without fading to black and loading constantly. Finally after only an hour, I got locked in a small location no bigger than a Crash warp room and was unable to continue because apparently even after ALL THIS TIME... the update had not finished installing. So fuck it!
Mini-review 2: Crash N.Sane Trilogy) One of the nights I was waiting for that to update, Crash 4 also had an update so I decided to give N. Sane a whirl and compare to the new game... I have no idea how we ever thought that clunky, bandicoots can't jump, shit show acceptable. I dare anyone after playing Crash 4 to go back and give it a try. I just couldn't and turned it off after about 30 minutes. Crazy just how modern and improved It's About Time feels to play in comparison.

Closing Thoughts) That's honestly all I've really been up to people so not a whole lot to report. Remember to drop some podcast questions below and get keen for Hawktober Early Access next week! Thanks for supporting the channel and to the boost of new backers this week, cheers guys. Have a great fucking day and we'll talk next week. 😉
