Sly 3 Review Progress (Blog) (Patreon)

Hey guys, I hope you all are well. I've been working non-stop the past week making sure this Sly 3 review will be out on time. So far... it's going ok I guess. it's a time consuming mess that could result in Early Access missing out this week, but I'll do my best to have it out for those people earlier than YouTube.

Why is is taking so long?) There are a few reasons, the first being that I pushed it back by a week to give myself and other people involved, enough time to get things organised. The other reason it's taking so long is the amount of extra shit I have to do for this. Without spoiling anything, this is by far the largest project I've ever undertaken for YouTube. It's only rival would be the Square Eyed Jak Review from last September. And while I've had longer scripts than this one, this is far more complicated. The single word "intro" on my script = a 20 second clip normally... but this time it represents a 40 second animation before the 20 second clip, which involved a bunch of different frames with effects and... yeah, it's just a mess.

What are you doing after Sly?) TAKING A FUCKING BREAK!

Not true, I'm a massive liar. I will be taking it easy on reviews for a while though, since the creative juices need to regenerate and what creativity I have, is for other types of videos such as Top 10's among other things. I'm considering smashing out a few games for reviews and getting them stockpiled a little bit. So that I'm up to editing a review before uploading the one previous. That will allow me to actually take a real break for a week or so and do something different with my time, like go outside and watch the grass blow in the wind... I don't know what I'd do, probably sit inside and play games but regardless, I'll need the break before June comes since that will be a fucking nightmare in my world.

But aside from that, I've got a lot of things in the works that I'm hoping I can focus more energy into once this Sly stuff is over and done with. Things like Q&As, more collecting stuff, maybe some behind the scenes/making-of videos and all the rest. I'm keen to do some more "controversial" shorties because the comments cheer me up, so be excited to some more of those. And with that, I hope you enjoyed this. Thanks for reading and have a great fucking day!
