This colourful octopus was so much fun to paint, I hope you enjoy painting it too!

Supplies used:

  • Liquitex acrylic paints - titanium white, prussian blue, light blue permanent, bright green aqua, primary yellow, cadmium orange, medium magenta, fluorescent pink, brilliant purple, deep violet, mars black

  • Brushes - small/medium filbert, small pointed (for eye and other details)

  • I'm painting on an 8"x8" canvas, but this will work on any size!

I just joined your website on Patreon and was excited to start the tutorial. However, it takes me an hour to go back and find the site. I am so frustrated with this whole process and the use of Patreon. There must be an easier way I have paid my $10 and some odd cents for the month and I don’t think I’m gonna continue to pay if I can’t get in easier than it’s been it takes me 45 minutes or longer to find the site any suggestion suggestions.

Hi Susan, sorry to hear you're having trouble with this, I'll be happy to help sort this out for you. What do you mean by find the site? Do you mean find my Patreon page? Or a specific tutorial?

I signed up for Patreon and then I paid the monthly amount $10 and something to have access to your tutorial which I’m excited to do on the octopus. But when I get out of all I had to get out of in Patreon is not a user-friendly app. Anyway, it takes me an hour to figure out how to get back to the tutorial that I paid for if you can suggest an easier way does it have to be through Patreon? Is it somewhere else or I’m just completely lost and I’m a little bit frustrated.

Are you using the app or the website? If you're using the website you can save the following link, then when you want the tutorial you will just need to click the link and it will take you straight to it: https://www.patreon.com/rachelfroudart/posts/octopus-139628791?collection=366935 You'll just need to make sure you are logged into your account so that you'll be able to see the whole tutorial 😊 Another way to find it is to go to the 'memberships' tab when you are logged in, either on the app or on the website. Then click on 'Rachel Froud Art', which will take you to my page. Then, click on 'collections' which will take you to my tutorials.
