Here's the character overview notes I posted, organized, plus general game stuff.

General

-You play as 4 characters, shared health bar. You pick your team in point/assist 1/assist 2/assist 3.

-The order of the assists are neutral/vertical (anti air)/assault (special/lockdown). For example, neutral is Iron Man beam, vertical is Captain America DP (not actually invincible, I think it's just vs jump ins), and lock down is like Iron Man missiles or Doom sky laser.

-You can move around at round start. Basically free movement, you can also tag.

-The game very clearly tells you when you can tag. There's a message that says "Change?" over an assist, and you hold the button to tag. In game, it looks like pausing in a modern FG (a bar that fills and when it fills the action happens). The screen goes grey while you tag, showing who's tagging in clearly as well.

-The game has the weakest Active Tag I've seen in a tag fighter (this is a good thing).

-The game is one big stage - you have a left stage with a left corner + midscreen transition, a middle stage with a transition on the left and right corners, and a right corner with a midscreen transition in the left corner. Only some actions "break the wall". Screen transition is important since you get a character for doing so.

-Game is 3/5 rounds, and you get a round for losing, so the losing player will have a full time at some point no matter what.

-Button Layout is Light/Medium/Heavy/Unique (Blazblue Drive)/Assist Call/Special Move/Dash. Everything else I think is optional. You can play as a 6 button game if you use L+M to dash, but low key I think you probably want a dash button.

Flight

-Four out the six characters could fly - Iron Man, Doctor Doom, Storm, and Star Lord.

-Flight has a minimum lower end height (just under jump height).

-You fly by holding up with these characters. Once you are in the mode, you have free flight options.

-Use a button to cancel the flight.

-Some characters have flight on whiff. Iron Man has a lot of this.

8 way dash

I'm making assumptions based on Star Lord but -

-8 is flight. You hold 8 to do it.

-2 is a fast fall. It has no start up, but landing recovery.

-4/6 is a standard ASW airdash.

-1/3 is like strive - a crumb of start up on the airdash, but no landing recovery.

-7/9 I dunno, it's either also flight or it's like the 1/3 dashes.

Storm

-22 is a projectile, and it is different in the air and on the ground. On the ground it summons a multi hit tornado, in the air it summons a piece of hail. The hail freezes on hit, and the tornado is multiple hits. The ex ground one summons two tornados, once close, one far. The tornado is plus. You move it around using her drive.

-Her drive is Rachel's wind, she can use it to affect movement, and alter momentum on her 214 moves, and move her 22 projectiles.

-Hail can't be moved diagonally, only four ways. Tornado you can only move on the ground. But you can use wind at any time, so you can preemptively move the tornados.

-Wind recovers slowly over time.

-214 is she rides a tornado. L goes horizontally, M goes up from the ground or down from the air. EX, I don't know. Worth noting is that the M version can be cancelled into flight and is good in combos with wind.

-She has an electric hands move, and another special move that I'm not too aware of.

-She is quite tall in game (fuzziable maybe?) and has long limbs/huge kicks and some of her moves advance.

Star Lord

-His drive involves loading an elemental bullet. He can do it in the air and on the ground. The fire one is a big slow fire ball, the ice one is mid range and freezes a la Kokonoe 236C, the light one is a standard beam, and when he shoots the earth bullet, he pulls out a shield that kills projectiles first, followed up by a shot. This shot can be used as anti air as well.

-He is mobile. He has a command jump special move, flight, and an "8 way dash" (described above).

-He is great at controlling space. He has a lunging special move, a spinning special move, and they are cancellable into each other, and the command jump. The command jump is cancellable into those moves and flight. He also has the elemental bullets, a normal gun that he can shoot multiple ways, like Joker from Smash straight down, or down towards the ground at a 45 degree angle, etc. He can throw a grenade as well, and he can aim that too.

-As far as assists, his neutral (shooting) assist is the light shot elemental bullet.

Ms Marvel

-Her drive is the stretchy limb. She's like Hazama. On the ground she stretches full screen and flies to you. It's plus when it connects. In the air, she can move with 4/5 (which goes forward) and 2. These all can be cancelled into each other and into moves, which stop her before going full screen. Finally, you can hit the limbs.

-She has a lariat like Zangief's triple punches (maybe it's a different input in modern SF?). She can do it air to ground too. The ex version goes pretty far and it's pretty fast, it reminded me of Gotenks beyblade.

-The trade off for her movement is she can neither airdash nor fly or anything like that, but I thought she was simple and strong.

-Her shooting assist is her drive.

Doctor Doom

-Slowest character shown so far. He has a step dash and step airdash, and they go through you a la Slayer.

-His Drive is a mirror that eats projectiles. He can send it to near full screen as well. This is pretty good in combination of things like his sky laser.

-I didn't look too much into his special moves, he has the sky laser, his butter gun which is his neutral assist, and an anti air laser reminiscent of GT Goku A Assist.

-Again, he is slow, but he can fly, so that's nice.

-Main vibe I got from him was you probably shouldn't play him on point.

Iron Man

-Didn't get much time on him. Only thing I had written down is that he can cancel literally everything into flight, even on whiff.

-He has a dp, uni beam (a projectile), missles (way faster than it looks, and fly fullscreen, think of Aigis Missiles from Persona) as special moves. There's one other but I didn't write it down ;;

Captain America

-Also didn't have much time on him. He has a dp, can throw his shield, has a lariat like Bardock

-Has standard ASW movement - no flying or "8 way dash", just jump, double jump, iad back and forth

-His drive is he can kick the shield like Jack-O minion.

Team Composition Thoughts

-Ms Marvel and Captain America look like great point characters

-You probably shouldn't play Doom point

-Storm is ok as point, but I think is really really good with 2 assists or more

-Star Lord is probably a point character

-Iron Man second maybe?
