I actually got to see Elvis in a theater with my grandparents and I totally agree. The last hour was the best part. Austin butler is going to win an Oscar this year for his performance mark my words.

The visual style got annoying after a while and I agree it was at his best when it was dial back.

I was forced into watching Pinocchio and it’s terrible.

Speaking of Rob Zombie, I just got the Anthrax Among the Living Comic they made last year and he wrote one of the stories, he wrote Imitation of Life which is about Aliens imitating humans and creating a big blood bath, it sounds dumb but it's somehow the best story in this comic

I thought Elvis was horrible. A total missed opportunity. I was really interested in Elvis, and wanted to know more about him, but the 2022 movie taught me nothing beyond the very surface level. Overrated garbage in my book.

Ryan must have been really drunk to give Elvis the thumbs up. I hated it and despite our age difference, I frequently agree with Ryan’s reviews. I thought Elvis would get the Many Saints of Newark treatment (my favourite review ever). Ryan was on fire 😂 that episode. I love the honesty, humour and knowledge you bring to your pod guys. Joe your videos are also top shelf 👍 John Candy. Keep the content coming my fellow paisans.

👏Keep👏Tom Hanks👏scummy👏 I stand by the opinion that if he HAD to be in the new Pinocchio he should have been Honest John. I’m interested in Elvis because of that.

I loved Disney’s Pinocc as a kiddo (lovingly referred to by me as ‘Donkey-o’) but I have zero interest in the remake Last month I watched Dick and Do Revenge. I liked Dick (teehee) and got a real kick out of the casting. Dan Hedaya as Nixon and Saul Rubinek as Kissinger were v good IMO. Do Revenge had nice costumes. Being a contrarian I enjoyed it more than Mean Girls but wasn’t as biting as Heathers. LOL @ Bachelor and the Bobby Soxer ref Luv ya guys, look forward to next months wrap-up!

One of our closest IMAX theatres closed pre-pandemic but since I was one of their only followers on Twitter I won a bunch of free tickets - Inception, Tron Legacy, Pacific Rim, Jack the Giant Slayer … I think there were a few others, too. Plus it was connected to the Minnesota Zoo so you could make a whole day out of it.
