I have a recommendation for you guys. The Two Jake’s which is the sequel the Chinatown. It’s directed by Jack Nicholson and written by the same writer and also produced by Robert Evens.

Do you know about the band Martini Ranch? It was Bill Paxton’s band from the 80s,The video for the song Reach was directed by James Cameron and has as extras all the main cast of Near Dark and the head cowgirl is Katheryn Bigalow

I want to also leave a recommendation, to Joe especially, and that is this French movie Tuvalu (1999) that is almost a silent comedy. It has minimal dialogue so that’s why it’s not but it is in style plus it has the weird French style of stuff like Delicatessen and The City of Lost Children. It’s free to watch with ads on the Freevee channel on Amazon Prime.

Love small soldiers! Got the big action figures at a garage sale when i was a kid. Very underrated film in my opinion. Indian in the cupboard was another childhood favorite. I don't look back on that one as fondly though

Thanks so much for reviewing this movie as I might not have ever bothered to watch it otherwise. But I absolutely loved it, totally agree with you that you feel dirty after watching it but I kind of loved the disgusting look and feel of the movie (I also love Nothing But Trouble for the same reason). But yeah this definitely deserves to be better known among film fans!
